Father, we humble ourselves as we thank and praise You for Your workings, Ps 100:1-4, and yet ask for still more grace, James 4:6, to share The Word with these figures as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they (and we) GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

We therefore ask for Blessing, Honor, GRACE, Immediate HEALING, Ex 15:26, for our Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures (and ourselves, kindly, Matt 7:7)... Kindly ask Healing at Present: Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13: (hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan). In Jesus' Name we collectively rebuke sickness over matriarchal, Luke 4:39, and restrain evil people and the evil one from each, 2 Thes 3:2-3. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word of Christ richly dwell within us, Col 3:6, spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1 and become flesh, John 1:14. Help us receive FRESH TRUTHS day after day and night after night, Ps 19:1-2, Prov 2:6, and retain the Word, Ps 119:11, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 2:16, and our minds prepared for battle, 1 Peter 1:13. We lift our hearts together before the throne of grace, joining in your earnest intercession for patriarchal and matriarchal figures, for ourselves, and for all who seek the Lord’s blessing. Your prayer is deeply rooted in Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, declaring God’s promises over these precious lives.

Beloved Father, we thank You for the gift of family, both by blood and by faith, and for the wisdom You impart through those who have walked before us in the ways of righteousness. We ask that You would indeed grant health and prosperity, as Your Word declares: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). Let this be so for our fathers and mothers in the faith, that their strength may be renewed like the eagle’s, and their years prolonged in peace (Isaiah 40:31).

We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and affliction that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10). In the authority of Jesus’ name, we command healing to manifest now, for He bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (Isaiah 53:4-5). Just as He rebuked the fever in Peter’s mother-in-law, and she arose and served them (Luke 4:39), we declare restoration and vitality over every matriarch and patriarch. May their bodies be temples of the Holy Spirit, honored and cared for as vessels of Your glory (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Father, we also lift up the renewal of minds, that they, and we, would no longer be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of our minds, proving what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly in all wisdom (Colossians 3:16), and may we crave the pure milk of Your truth, growing thereby (1 Peter 2:2). Strengthen us to move from milk to solid food, discerning good from evil (Hebrews 5:14), and equip us to rightly divide the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

We honor the commandment to honor our fathers and mothers, that it may be well with us and that we may live long on the earth (Ephesians 6:2-3). Where there has been brokenness, bitterness, or disobedience, we repent and ask for grace to walk in love and reconciliation. Let no root of bitterness spring up to cause trouble, but let us pursue peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14-15).

Lord, we also ask for spiritual, emotional, and temporal provision. You have promised that if we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). Open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that there will not be room enough to receive them (Malachi 3:10). Meet every need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19), and let their cups run over with Your goodness (Psalm 23:5).

We pray for fruitfulness in every season of life. Let them bear the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May their lives be living testimonies of Your grace, drawing others to Christ through their words and deeds. Raise them up as pillars in Your house, strong in faith and unwavering in devotion (1 Timothy 3:15).

Father, we also lift up the next generation. May these patriarchs and matriarchs be instruments of discipleship, teaching their children, and their children’s children, the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10). Let the legacy of faith be passed down, that families may serve You from generation to generation (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).

We stand against every scheme of the enemy, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand in the evil day (Ephesians 6:13). Bind every evil spirit that seeks to bring harm, and loose the angels of the Lord to encamp around those who fear You (Psalm 34:7).

Finally, Lord, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon these dear ones. Open the eyes of their understanding, that they may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19). Let them walk in the fullness of Christ, rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they, and we, walk in the light of Your presence all our days.

We've been sitting with your words, and they carry a deep reverence and a genuine longing to see your parents and yourselves flourish, spiritually, physically, and emotionally. That kind of love is a quiet evidence of the Spirit already at work in you.

Something to gently hold onto is that the growth and healing you're asking for rarely unfold all at once. They tend to come in small, almost imperceptible ways, woven into the ordinary rhythm of daily surrender. The Lord who began a good work in each of you is faithful to complete it, often not through a single dramatic breakthrough but through the patient nourishment of his Word and the quiet prompting of his Spirit. You don't have to chase every fresh truth in a single night; you can trust the Giver to supply what is needed, when it is needed, as you keep your heart turned toward him.

A small, concrete step might be to choose just one of your many requests, perhaps peace within their walls, and let it anchor your prayer for the next week. As you pray, watch for even the smallest flicker of God's answer. Sometimes his peace arrives as a gentle steadiness rather than a noticeable shift, and we miss it when we're straining for something larger.

Father, we lift up these beloved matriarchal and patriarchal figures to you. Touch their bodies with healing, quiet their minds, and surround them with your peace. Shield them from all evil and harm. Renew their spirits day by day, that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. The sweet aroma of this prayer ascends as incense, for it seeks first the honor of God, and then the good of His people. Herein lies the plain duty and the generous reward: "Those who honor Me I will honor." You have laid hold of the command with promise concerning parents, and this is well-pleasing to the Lord. Let not your grip upon it slacken, for where there is a seeking of God’s honor in these family relationships, He will honor those families very wonderfully. The prayer for the peace of your walls, for deliverance from evil men and the evil one, is a cry that finds ready audience in the ear of the Covenant God. He who is the Deliverer from the archers of ecclesiastical discord and every spiritual foe, keeps His own in perfect peace.

Your request for healing, both bodily and emotional, touches the hem of our Lord’s garment. Remember, the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. When the Sun of Righteousness arises, healing is in His wings, and the inhabitant shall no more say, "I am sick." This healing often travels side by side with pardon, for the same voice that says, "Your sins are forgiven you," speaks wholeness to the soul and often to the body. The Lord’s chastisement, when it comes, is not the vindication of Law for His own, but a tender parental discipline, designed to make the partaker of it a partaker of His holiness. Therefore, cry mightily for this healing, knowing that He forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases.

You plead for renewed minds and spiritual growth, from milk to solid food, and this is a petition after the very heart of God. The promise is that He satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. How is the eagle’s youth renewed? By feeding and by mounting into the pure atmosphere of the sky. So it is with us. Feed upon Christ, the sincere milk of the Word and the strong meat of the covenant, and your strength shall be renewed. Mount upward in communion, breathing the heavenly atmosphere, and your face shall glow with the radiance of a fresh vitality. This renewal of the mind is not of man’s working; deliverance from the power of darkness and from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from guilt. Where you look for justification, there you must also look for sanctification. He who has begun a good work in you will perform it. The most astonishing novelty under heaven is the old, old story of the Cross by which a ransom is found, and the Spirit of God applies that purchased renewal to the inner man.

Let this be your confidence: that the deliverance asked for these beloved figures and for yourselves is a deliverance wrought by the hand of God alone. He brought Israel forth from Egypt with a high hand, and not one of His feeble ones was left behind, for His honor would suffer should one of His little ones perish. As it was with Jacob at the brook Jabbok, when he feared the face of Esau, so shall it be with you. He went in fear and trembling, but God had so worked that his enemy fell on his neck and kissed him. The Lord can restrain evil men and the evil one with equal ease. Commit this whole matter into the hands of Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. The ransom is found, the Deliverer is engaged, and the time of love is now. Only see to it that your faith takes no atom of the honor of deliverance, for it must be of Free Grace alone.

The prayers you pour out before God are many and earnest, and I perceive in them a soul that hungers for righteousness. But take heed: the tongue may form a thousand petitions, yet the mind remains unfed unless it also receives the word with careful hearing. Our Lord said, “Blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear”, not the sight of the body, but that of the mind. Therefore, while you ask for a renewed mind, you must attend to the means by which the Spirit accomplishes this renewal. To be renewed is when the very same thing that has grown old is made new, changed from one condition to another. The person is the same, but the alteration is in what is accidental. So it is not enough to plead for deliverance from outward evils; you must cultivate every part of virtue: a careful hearing, continual recollection, fortitude, and separation from all worldly cares. For what if you are free from riches, yet are soft and unmanly, or remiss and careless about hearing the word? No single part secures your salvation.

You ask for healing and protection from the evil one. Remember that the ruler bears not the sword in vain: he is God’s minister to execute wrath on the evildoer. But the devil himself is far more terrified by a mind careful about divine matters, a soul that ever hangs over the fountain of the Scriptures. Therefore, bind not your hands, but bind your heart and mind. There are bonds that lead to life: when the heart becomes a tablet on which the Holy Spirit stamps the king’s writing, the tempter cannot even look upon it. So let the one who despairs take courage from the tame animals; come continually to this house of healing, hear the laws of the Spirit, and when you retire home write down in your mind the things you have heard. Then your confidence will grow as you feel your progress by experience.

You also pray for grace to honor your father and mother, and this is right, for it is the first commandment with a promise. Yet guard yourself, lest you honor any figure, however venerable, above Christ. As the multitude once esteemed John too highly, so the soul may wander if it sets the creature beside the Creator. Let your honor be grounded in the fear of God, and let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. And in all your supplications, remember that the one who does good to his neighbor reaps the joy of it first himself. Let your prayer, then, be not only on your lips but a living sacrifice, proving that you are effectual doers of the word, not hearers only. For this is the path to that abiding communion with the Father and the Son, and to the fruit that endures to eternal life.

Your prayer reveals the deepest longing of a life being renewed, the desire to see the mind completely transformed so that every thought begins to reflect the heart of God. This is exactly where the Spirit leads, for the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. The battle you describe, praying for healing, provision, and protection while also yearning to honor your parents and grow in maturity, is fought in that realm of the mind. The flesh would have you consumed with worry over bodily needs and earthly outcomes, but the Spirit is drawing you into something higher.

Notice what happens when the Spirit is uppermost. Your mind then becomes occupied with the things of God, His Word, your fellowship with Him, His purposes. And the result is not anxiety but life, joy, and peace. So when you ask for renewed minds, you are asking for the very transformation that shifts the entire orientation of a person from being ruled by what is seen and temporal to being ruled by the unseen and eternal. That is the promise of Romans 12:2, and it is the only way to prove what the will of God truly is.

Your request leans heavily on the Word, and rightly so. All Scripture is breathed out by God. It is not just a collection of helpful principles but the living voice of the Creator. When you pray for your parents to hear the Word as they are enabled, and for fresh truths to come day and night, you are asking for what the Spirit delights to do, take the things of Christ and reveal them. And here is a vital truth: when you encounter a passage you do not yet understand, do not set it aside. The enemy is a master of quoting Scripture out of context to create doubt, but the maturing believer learns to say, “I do not understand this yet, but I trust the Author.” Comparing Scripture with Scripture, holding firmly that all of it is inspired and without error, is what builds a solid foundation.

As you pray earnestly for immediate healing and deliverance from the evil one, remember that God has many ways of delivering His people. Yes, we ask boldly for the miraculous, as Paul saw many healed. Yet the ultimate deliverance is not always a change in our physical circumstance in this life; sometimes it is the Lord preserving us through the trial and keeping us for His heavenly kingdom. He will deliver you from every evil work. That is a certainty. Whether He rebukes a sickness instantly or sustains a person with supernatural peace in the midst of it, He is faithful.

Consider also what He is doing in the midst of this intercession. You are asking for fruitfulness, and yet the very process of praying these Scriptures, of standing in the gap for those you honor, is God’s training ground. He knows the work He has prepared for you. Every act of faithful prayer, every moment spent letting the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, is His hand on your life, developing you for that purpose. The mind of Christ is formed not in an instant but as we walk with Him, esteem others better than ourselves, and serve with humility. Your deep desire to honor your parents and see them walk in truth is evidence that He is already at work, shaping the mind of the Spirit within you. Continue to fill your mind with His Word and with what edifies the spirit, for what fills your mind will occupy it even in the quiet moments. Trust His processes, and let His peace rule.
