Father, we humble ourselves as we thank and praise You for Your workings, Ps 100:1-4, faithful and just to forgive the sins we confess and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 Jn 1:9, and yet ask for still more grace, James 4:6, to "heal the sick, share The Word with these figures as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they (and we) GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

We therefore ask for Blessing, Honor, GRACE, Immediate HEALING, Ex 15:26, for our Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures (and ourselves, kindly, Matt 7:7)... Kindly ask Healing at Present: Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13: (hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan). In Jesus' Name we collectively rebuke sickness over matriarchal, Luke 4:39, and restrain evil people and the evil one from each, 2 Thes 3:2-3. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word of Christ richly dwell within us, Col 3:6, spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1 and become flesh, John 1:14. Help us receive FRESH TRUTHS day after day and night after night, Ps 19:1-2, Prov 2:6, and retain the Word, Ps 119:11, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 2:16, and our minds prepared for battle, 1 Peter 1:13. We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunity to lift up our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, as well as ourselves, in prayer. It is a sacred duty and privilege to honor those whom God has placed in authority over us, as Scripture commands, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth'" (Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB). We recognize that honoring them is not merely a cultural expectation but a divine mandate that brings blessing and longevity.

Father, we thank You for the gift of life and the wisdom that comes from those who have walked before us. We ask that You would indeed heal the sick among them, just as You promised in Exodus 15:26, "I am Yahweh who heals you." We rebuke every form of sickness, disease, and infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17 WEB). We stand on Your Word, which declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Let Your healing virtue flow through their bodies, minds, and spirits, restoring them to full health and vitality.

We also pray for their spiritual, emotional, and temporal well-being. Beloved, it is God’s will that we prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2). We ask that You would provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen them emotionally, Lord, that they may not be overwhelmed by the cares of this world but may cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would renew their minds daily, transforming them by the washing of the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26). Help them to be rooted and grounded in love, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). Open the eyes of their understanding, that they may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19). Let the Word of Christ dwell in them richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in their hearts to You (Colossians 3:16).

We pray that they would grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). May they move from milk to solid food, being skilled in the word of righteousness (Hebrews 5:13-14). Let them crave the sincere milk of the Word, that they may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2), and may they be doers of the Word, not hearers only, deceiving themselves (James 1:22). Father, we ask that You would fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk worthily of You, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).

We rebuke every scheme of the evil one that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for peace within their walls and prosperity within their palaces (Psalm 122:7). Keep them from the evil one, sanctifying them in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:15-17).

Father, we also lift up ourselves, asking that You would help us to honor our parents in word and deed. Give us grace to submit to their godly authority, to listen to their counsel, and to care for them in their time of need. Let us be a source of blessing and encouragement to them, reflecting the love and grace that You have shown us. Help us to be diligent in our own spiritual growth, that we may be mature in Christ, bearing the fruit of the Spirit in every area of our lives (Galatians 5:22-23).

We pray that together, we would all be transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Let us have the mind of Christ, being humble, gentle, and patient, bearing with one another in love (Philippians 2:5; Ephesians 4:2). Prepare our minds for action, being sober in spirit, fixing our hope completely on the grace to be brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:13).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). We believe that You are working all things together for our good, because we love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We commit our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, as well as ourselves, into Your loving hands, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You will answer and move mightily on our behalf. Amen.

We are grateful that you brought this before the Lord and invited others to stand with you. You have clearly poured your heart into asking for the health and spiritual growth of those you love, your patriarchs and matriarchs, and for your own renewal as well. We hear the deep longing for healing, deliverance, and a fresh shaping of the mind according to God’s own will.

Sometimes when we pray for many good things at once, the sheer weight of the need can feel overwhelming. We want to remind you gently that the God who numbers the hairs on our heads holds each of those requests personally. He does not grow weary, and His grace is always at work, often more quietly and steadily than we notice. The transformation of a mind and the restoration of a body can unfold over days and seasons, not just in a single moment, but every single day He is faithful to lead you and your elders further into life and godliness.

A practical way forward might be to invite a trusted pastor or elder in your church to pray over those who are physically unwell. The Scriptures encourage the elders to pray over the sick, and their presence can be a tangible comfort. You might also consider gathering a small circle of prayer partners who will keep lifting up these needs with you week after week, not just in a post, but face to face.

Father, we ask You to let Your healing presence rest upon these beloved patriarchs and matriarchs. Quiet every anxious thought and cover them with peace. For their bodies, we pray for Your restoring touch; for their souls, a deeper hunger for Your Word. Guard them from evil, and make their minds steady and renewed day by day. And for the one who wrote this request, grant strength, patience, and hope as they honor and care for their family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The prayer that rises from your heart is pleasing incense before the throne, for it is saturated with the very words of God. To plead the promises is to grasp the hand of Christ Himself, and to bind His written truth about your soul is to dress a wound with the leaves of the tree of life. You ask for healing, for renewed minds, for grace to honor those set over you in the Lord, and for a fruitful communion with your Savior. These are no small requests, but they are according to His will, and therefore we may boldy approach the mercy seat.

Yet let me remind you, as I have often preached, that our afflictions, though they may seem to come from the hand of man or the malice of the evil one, are yet from the Lord and are the necessary outcome of His special love to us. It is not killing, but curing, that God means when He takes the sharp lancet in His hands. The sickness that now presses upon your matriarchal figure, and the spiritual struggles that beset your own mind, are not tokens of divine absence, but rather of a Father’s nearness, training you to bear the yoke until it fits. If your burden does not fit your shoulder, bear it till it does; time will reconcile you to it if grace abides with you.

Look away from second causes and perceive that He who has looked down from the height of His sanctuary has heard your groanings, and He will deliver those appointed to death. God has found a ransom, not in your merits, but in Christ. Deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from its power are both works of grace; as you look for justification, there must you also look for sanctification. Do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said, “I have found a ransom.” The same voice that commanded the prisoner’s chains to fall will snap the bands of your fear, your sin, and your sickness.

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, every word from the mouth of Jesus carries curative power. Let His promises be applied like a poultice to the inflamed heart; let the water of the Word wash over the wounds. There is no cure for the mind’s blindness or the soul’s fever but the true medicine of Scripture. Crave the sincere milk, and then press on to strong meat, for it is by abiding in Him and His words abiding in you that your joy will be made full. As you honor parents in the Lord, remember that this too is a leaf of healing for your own spirit, a command with a promise of long life and wellness in the land.

Be of good cheer, for He has delivered you from the power of darkness, and He will deliver you all the way through. Even now, while you wait for the outward healing to manifest, your inner man is being renewed day by day. Let your mind be prepared for battle, not with the anxiety of one who faces an uncertain outcome, but with the sober confidence of one who already sees the captain of salvation riding forth conquering and to conquer. Cast all your cares on Him, and let the noise of the archers be silenced by a quiet faith. The Lord who gave Egypt for Israel, and His own Son for you, will not withhold any good thing. Only wait upon Him, for your expectation is from Him alone.

Your prayer overflows with holy scripture, and there is much to commend in your desire for the health of body and soul, for the renewal of the mind, and for honor shown to those in authority over you. Yet listen carefully, lest the very abundance of your words betrays a thirst for a wisdom that is still bound up with the flesh. You ask for prosperity, for healing, for deliverance from evil, and for fresh truths day after day. These are good things, but do you understand what true prosperity is? It is not the body’s ease but a clean conscience. Even if we suffer countless hardships, even if sickness lingers and enemies press in, it is enough for our comfort and our crown that our conscience testifies we are walking in simplicity and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God. For in Christ all the promises of God are yes, and in him is the Amen, but these promises do not guarantee a life free from pain. They guarantee that by every trial the inner man is renewed.

You urgently seek a renewed mind. But how is the mind renewed? Not by gathering more verses as if they were charms, nor by declaring with many words that you rebuke sickness and the evil one. The renewal of the mind is this: when the very same mind that has grown old in pride, in self-will, in love of comfort, is changed by the indwelling Spirit into a new thing. The Spirit does not tolerate old deeds. You cannot have the mind of Christ while still clutching the wisdom of the world, seeking health and length of days as the first proof of God’s favor. The natural man cannot grasp the things of the Spirit, for they are folly to him. Do you wish to have the mind of Christ? Then learn from him who said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit.” Lowliness of mind is the mother of all good deeds, the very foundation. To think soberly, that is, to keep a safe and sound mind, is to recognize that whatever wisdom you have is not your own but was given you through grace so that you might serve others, not exalt yourself. How can you be sober if you are not lowly? A man who demands that God move according to his timing and his lists is more dizzy than any madman; his mind is not kept safe.

You honor patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and rightly so, for that commandment carries a promise. But see that you do not honor them above the Lord, nor imagine that the honor God seeks is mere outward support. The true honor flows from a heart that first honors God in obedience, even when it brings conflict. The wife of Job spoke when she counseled him to curse God and die, and in that voice a devil was at work. Be careful then: not every word from an elder is from the Lord. Test the spirits. The family we truly belong to is not only the lineage of flesh, but those who do the will of my Father in heaven. And the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named is able to sustain you even if earthly parents should fail.

You ask for fresh truths night and day. But know this: the Spirit is not a dealer in novelties. The truth itself does not grow stale, for it is Christ himself, the same yesterday, today, and forever. The freshness you need is the ever-deepening work of that one truth in your soul, and that comes not through a flood of private interpretation, but through a steadfast, quiet hearing of the word with fortitude and careful attention. The seed must fall into deep soil and bear fruit with patience. It is not enough to be freed from obvious sins; you must also cultivate a soft heart that hears and retains the word, a manly endurance that does not wilt under trial, and a genuine contempt for the world’s comfort.

Pray then for healing? Yes, pray, but with your hands open and your will submitted. He who delivered the three from the furnace did not prevent them from being cast in. Your true healing is the sanctification of your soul in the truth of the word. Seek the sincere milk of that word, not to become a teacher of others before you are a doer, but to grow up into the head, which is Christ. Let the peace of God be within your walls, but first let the peace of a lowly and quiet spirit be within your heart. When your mind is thus renewed, you will prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, and you will find that his grace is sufficient for every need, and his power is made perfect in what the world calls weakness.
