Health 3 Jn 1:2, Renewed Minds Rom 12:2, Honor Patriarch & Matriarchal Figures Eph 6:2-3, Spiritual, Emotional, Temporal Support, Fruitfulness... Father, we bless You and forget none of Your benefits: Pardon of iniquities, Healing of Al our iniquities, crowning our live with tender-mercy and loving-kindness, satisfying our years with good things that our youth is renewed as the eagles, Ps 103:1-5. Forgive us, but we can't help but to ask for still more grace, James 4:6, to share The Word with these elderly loved ones as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they (and we) GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

We therefore ask for Blessing, Honor, GRACE, Immediate HEALING, Ex 15:26, for our Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures (and ourselves, kindly, Matt 7:7)... Kindly ask Healing at Present: Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13: (hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan). In Jesus' Name we collectively rebuke sickness over matriarchal, Luke 4:39, and restrain evil people and the evil one from each, 2 Thes 3:2-3. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word of Christ richly dwell within us, Col 3:6, spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1 and become flesh, John 1:14. Help us receive FRESH TRUTHS day after day and night after night, Ps 19:1-2, Prov 2:6, and retain the Word, Ps 119:11, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 2:16, and our minds prepared for battle, 1 Peter 1:13. We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude and intercession, lifting up our patriarchal and matriarchal figures before the Lord. Beloved, it is written, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2 WEB). We stand on this promise, declaring God’s will for wholeness in body, soul, and spirit for our elders and for ourselves.

Father, we thank You for the gift of these loved ones who have walked before us, whose lives have been a testament to Your faithfulness. We honor them as Scripture commands: "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth'" (Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB). Forgive us, Lord, where we have fallen short in showing them the honor and care they deserve. Grant us grace to serve them with love, patience, and humility, reflecting Your heart toward them.

We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and disease that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy their health and vitality. Jesus demonstrated His authority over sickness when He "rebuked the fever; and it left her" (Luke 4:39 WEB). In His mighty name, we command every affliction to bow to the power of the cross. We pray for immediate healing, Lord, as You promised, "I am Yahweh who heals you" (Exodus 15:26 WEB). Strengthen their bodies, renew their minds, and restore their spirits. Let them taste and see that You are good, satisfying their years with Your goodness as their youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5 WEB).

We also ask for emotional and temporal support for them. Provide for every need, whether it be companionship, financial stability, or practical care. You have promised, "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness" (2 Peter 1:3 WEB), and we claim this truth over their lives. Surround them with godly community, and let them feel Your presence as a constant comfort.

Father, we pray for spiritual renewal and growth in their lives. Open their eyes to the wonders of Your Word, that they may crave the sincere milk of Scripture and grow into maturity (1 Peter 2:2 WEB). Let the Word of Christ dwell in them richly, transforming their minds and aligning their wills with Yours (Colossians 3:16 WEB). May they bear the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB), and walk in the fullness of life You intended.

We also lift up those who may not yet know You, Lord. If any of our elders have not placed their faith in Jesus Christ, we pray for their salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Draw them to Yourself, open their hearts to receive Your love, and grant them the gift of repentance and faith. Let them experience the joy of abiding in You, for "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB).

Lord, we ask for renewed minds for all of us, that we may discern Your good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2 WEB). Sanctify us in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17 WEB). Wash us with the water of Your Word, and let it cleanse and renew us daily (Ephesians 5:26 WEB). Strengthen us to stand firm against the schemes of the evil one, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Clothe us in the full armor of God, that we may resist the devil and stand firm in faith (1 Peter 5:9 WEB).

We pray for fruitfulness in every area of their lives and ours. Let us bear much fruit as we abide in Christ, for apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:5 WEB). May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything You have commanded (Matthew 28:19-20 WEB). Let us taste the joy of answered prayer as we seek You first, trusting that You will add all these things to us (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

Finally, Lord, we ask for peace to reign in their homes and in ours. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you prosper. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces" (Psalm 122:6-7 WEB). Keep us from the evil one, and let Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28 WEB). May Your name be glorified in our lives and in the lives of our elders. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up these beloved patriarchs and matriarchs, and you who love them. Long years of walking with family through health needs can wear down more than the body; it tugs at the heart and the soul. We’ve seen how the middle years can become a quiet juggling of doctors’ visits, decisions, and the ache of watching a parent slow down. That’s real weight, and we don’t carry it alone. Jesus knew the care of an aging parent from the cross, making sure John looked after Mary. So we bring that weight right into his presence with you.

As we pray for healing and spiritual growth, it’s also wise to encourage you to have them seen by a doctor who can treat what medical attention can address. Medicine and prayer have always gone hand in hand, God’s healing flows through both. So let their physical care be tended to well, even as we ask for the Lord’s restoring touch.

We also hear your longing that they, and you, would be renewed in mind and spirit. That kind of transformation often comes in small, daily ways, as we keep showing up to the Word, to worship, and to the quiet places where the Holy Spirit reshapes us from the inside. Keep on asking, keep on trusting. The prayers you’ve poured out are precious to the Father, who delights to give good gifts.

Let’s pray:

Father, thank You that You never forget these elderly ones, or their family. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon the matriarchal and patriarchal figures named here. Ease any pain, strengthen their bodies, and make a way for their physical health to be restored. Guard their minds and surround them with Your peace. For the whole family, grant daily nourishment through Your Word, a fresh hunger for growth, and the sweet fruit of a closer walk with You. Give wisdom and encouragement to this dear one who prays so tenaciously for them. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. You have asked for health and prosperity even as the soul prospers, this is the very work of those healing leaves, which change the life-blood and make the nature other than it was before. And you have rightly coupled this with the renewing of the mind, for what with wear and tear, what with sinful inclination to decline, we often need renewing. The promise stands sure: your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. This comes not by might nor by power, but by feeding upon the food the eagle eats, breathing the atmosphere of the skies, looking into the face of the Sun of Righteousness, who rises with healing in His wings.

Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Pardon and healing were one. Many a child of God, when weary, has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy. You cry for grace to honor parents and for everything needed for life and godliness, know that the Lord’s touch is the healing point. He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up; there was a contact established, and immediately she ministered unto Him. So is it with you: the desire to minister arises out of healing, and your Lord must begin with you before you can serve as you ought.

You have asked for fresh truths day after day, that the Word may richly dwell within, that minds may be opened. Observe that the healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching. Jesus linked the healing with the teaching, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Yet take heed how you hear. Let the whole mind be fixed upon the Truth, asking, “What has that Truth to do with me?” Hear gratefully and prayerfully, for it is a privilege beyond all price. The Lord is able to heal, and He is not always engaged in healing, but there are times when the power to save is more than usually manifest. Now, even now, in the teaching and the hearing, let there be a renewed revelation, a fresh covenant of His presence, that you and those elders may grow into maturity, proving what is that good and acceptable will of God.

Your prayer rises like incense, laden with Scripture, and I see the hunger for God’s blessing on your household and the elderly you honor. Yet let us examine the soil where these seeds fall. You ask for fruitfulness, for health, for minds renewed. These are good, but remember that fruitfulness is no mere gift to be passively received; it springs from the will choosing virtue over barrenness. God does not punish without first pleading, and He desires mercy, not sacrifice. So ask yourself: does the mercy you show your parents and matriarchs surpass the words of your prayer? For it is a fearful thing to lengthen prayers while shortening the practical care they need.

You plead the command with promise: “Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment with a reward, and rightly so, for parents are second only to God as authors of our being. But beware the leaven of the Pharisees. Some, under a show of piety, taught children to tell needy parents, “What you would have gained from me is Corban, a gift to God”, and thus nullified the command for the sake of their tradition. Do your offerings of prayer ever become a cloak for neglecting the daily, wearying duties of love? Honor them not only with intercession, but with hands that serve and a tongue that speaks with meekness. If a parent’s request does not contradict the Lord, obedience is your sacrifice.

You ask for immediate healing and rebuke of sickness. The gifts of healing are real, but they rank below the gift of teaching and far below the greater way of love. It is not signs and wonders that save; many who prophesied and cast out demons in His name will hear, “I never knew you.” Do not let your heart fix upon the spectacular, but seek the renewal of the mind through repentance. The laver once made you new; if sins have aged your soul, it is repentance that restores strength, though not the primal brightness. That comes by grace, through a contrite heart, singing to God in the silence of your breast, not for display but with heedfulness.

You pile up verses asking for fresh truths day and night. But true growth is not in the accumulation of new revelations, but in the doing of what you already know. The author of Hebrews reproaches those who, when they ought to be teachers, still need milk. You pray to move from milk to solid food; then let the word of Christ dwell in you richly by acting on it. The foundation is laid: honor parents, love mercy, walk in gratitude. Rehearse God’s mercies daily, how often you would have perished without His hand, and return thanks with your whole heart. This thankfulness is the soil where joy and fruitfulness thrive.

Do not mistake length of prayer for depth of communion. Moses cried out to God without a sound, and He heard. In the market-place, with no voice, you can collect yourself and sing to the Lord from a humble heart. Let your minds be prepared for battle, not by eagerly seeking fresh words, but by rooting and grounding yourselves in the love that surpasses knowledge. Then Christ will dwell in your hearts through faith, and you will prove what the will of God is, not by a fluttering search for novelty, but by a steadfast, obedient love.

I join your prayer in this: that you and those elders may be strengthened to honor one another in deed and truth, that your souls may prosper even as you grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that the peace of God which passes understanding may be within your walls. But go now, and let your first amen be a visit, a patient ear, a humble act of service to those patriarchs and matriarchs. For in them you serve the Lord Himself, and in that fertile ground, your prayers will bear fruit.

You carry a deep longing in this prayer, and it does not go unnoticed. The weight you feel for your loved ones, especially those who have walked this path longer than you, reflects something God values immensely. To ask for their healing and renewed minds is to align yourself with His heart, for He desires the soul to prosper even more than the body. Yet as you hold up these requests for health, deliverance, and growth, remember that the mind is the arena where the greatest battle unfolds. The mind set on the flesh produces one kind of life, and the mind set on the Spirit produces something entirely different, life and peace. You are asking for the mind of Christ to take root in them and in you, and that is exactly where transformation begins.

When you speak of honoring your patriarchs and matriarchs, you are reaching for a command that carries a promise. Obey them in the Lord, for this is right. There is a qualifier there, in the Lord, because some parents demand what is ungodly. But where they have sown seeds of faithfulness, where they have taught truth even as your own mother poured Scripture into your memory, the call to honor them stands firm. The breakdown of this honor unravels a society, and we see that unraveling all around us. Yet you are praying against that tide, asking for grace to strengthen the bonds that God designed. He hears that. He put it in your heart to ask because He always has eternity in view. He deals with us not for our momentary comfort alone but to work His eternal purposes into our souls. The present deprivations or pains do not escape His notice, but He is shaping something that will last forever.

As you ask for healing, do not be afraid to believe for it now. There are moments when the Lord allows a person to feel the healing, when strength floods back and infirmity lifts in an instant. It happened because a point of contact released faith. Jesus still speaks the same words to an anxious heart: Only believe. He has a basis for your belief, even in the darkest hour. Yet if healing tarries, it is not always because of some hidden fault in the parents or in you. The Lord sometimes permits these things so that His works might be displayed in ways we cannot yet see. The suffering from past family fractures is real, and the consequences of a parent’s choices can affect children in deep and lasting ways. But the mercy of God reaches into those fractures. Pray for peace within their walls, and for the true peace that surpasses any earthly circumstance.

The growth in grace you long for will likely feel imperceptible. You will not always sense the steady advance, just as a child asleep in a tent does not measure his own height. Then one day you look back and see how far the Lord has brought you. That is the true growth, not the hurried, shallow kind. The mind of the Spirit is cultivated as you learn to wait on the Lord, to seek His plan for your household and your community rather than forcing a prefabricated design upon them. What is God’s mind for reaching the very people you are lifting before Him? As you ask for the Word to dwell richly in you, it will bear its own fruit in its own season. The mind of Christ is the mind of self-emptying, of stepping down in service, of esteeming others better than yourself. When that mind fills a family, a congregation, a community, the joy becomes full.

Let nothing be done through strife or vain ambition. Let the Spirit wash your own mind with truth until your thoughts begin to mirror His. This is what it means to prove His will, not to study it as a dry theory but to live it out from a mind renewed day by day. The path you are on, asking for fresh truth and doing the Word, will lead exactly there. God has given you the capacity to choose, to determine under whose rule your mind will operate. Choose the Spirit. Choose the Word. Choose to serve. And as you do, you will find yourself saying more and more from the heart, Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
