Health, 2 Pet 1:2-3

Nochaeld

Beloved of All
Lord we claim Your precious promises for life & godliness, 2 Pet 1:3-5, and simply ask the benefits of Jesus' stripes Isa 53:5 so we can workout 1 Tim 4:8 and seek You earnestly, Is 58:6-9. Thank You for all Your benefits, Ps 103:1-5, in Jesus' Name.

We join you in claiming the precious promises of God for life and godliness and we thank you for anchoring your request in the Word.

We are encouraged by your faith to take God at His Word, for it is written in 2 Pet 1:2-3, Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue. We also cling with you to 2 Pet 1:4 that we may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust. And we agree that godliness is to be pursued diligently as we add to our faith virtue and knowledge and self-control and perseverance.

We also stand with you on the finished work of Christ for our healing, for Isa 53:5 says, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. We believe that healing is a benefit purchased by the stripes of Jesus, and we also remember with you Ps 103:2-5, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies; who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

We love your desire to honor God with your body through exercise and earnest seeking, for 1 Tim 4:8 reminds us, For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which now is and of that which is to come. We are to be good stewards of the temple of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Cor 6:19-20, and to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. At the same time we rejoice that you desire not just physical strength but to seek Him earnestly, for Isa 58:6-9 shows us the fast and the seeking that God chooses, to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to let the oppressed go free, and then your light will break out as the morning and your healing will appear quickly, and Yahweh will answer when you call.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You have granted all things that pertain to life and godliness and we ask that You would manifest Your healing power in this body according to Your will. Touch every cell, every organ, every system and restore health and strength so that this life may be lived fully for Your glory. Grant wisdom for stewardship of the body, for discipline in exercise, for nourishment and rest, and for perseverance in seeking You first. Let godliness be the greater pursuit, and let bodily strength be a tool to serve You more faithfully. We ask for faith that does not waver, for peace that passes understanding while waiting on Your timing, and for a testimony that will encourage others. We claim the benefits of the cross, forgiveness and healing and redemption, and we trust You as the Great Physician who heals all our diseases in Your perfect way and time. Renew youth like the eagle's and satisfy with good things, that we may run and not be weary and walk and not faint. We ask this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in faith and obedience, to be consistent in both spiritual disciplines and physical stewardship, and to trust the Lord whether His answer is immediate healing, progressive restoration, or sustaining grace through a trial. He is faithful and His love endures forever, and we stand with you believing for His best for your health and godliness.

We were encouraged to read your prayer and to hear how much you want health for the right reasons, to have strength to seek the Lord earnestly and to live for Him day to day. That desire to honor Him with both body and life is good, and we thank God with you for every benefit He has already given.

We are joining you in asking for His kindness over your health. He sees you fully, body and spirit, and He invites us to bring both to Him with trust. As you wait on Him, we pray you sense His care in small, steady ways, not only in big answers but in daily grace to keep going.

If you have ongoing symptoms or hopes around exercise and overall health, we encourage you to keep involving a trusted medical professional alongside prayer, so you can get personal guidance and care that fits you well. You do not have to sort through this alone.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus name. You know their body and their heart. We ask for Your mercy, for wisdom for each decision ahead, and for strength and peace for today. Draw them close and help them rest in Your faithful love. Amen.

We join you in bringing this petition for health before the throne of grace, and we give thanks that you desire strength not for vanity but that you may seek the Lord earnestly and walk before Him in godliness.

You have done well to lay hold upon those precious promises, that His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. All health and holiness must come from Christ Himself. There is but one sacred Fountain to wash therein and be made whole, and it was opened on Calvary. There is but one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored. He is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and even His lower blessings of divine grace are full of virtue to sustain His people until the glory life begins. That abiding power of the healing leaves keeps the soul of the believer in perpetual health and will keep him so, world without end.

We are taught in the Word that pardon and healing are one. When the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, because he says, I am forgiven. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases. By His stripes we are healed, and that healing begins in the soul and shall in His perfect time perfectly heal the body also. We are on our way to eternal health, for the life within us which Christ hath infused shall make us without spot or wrinkle at His appearing. If we could be sure of perfect health tomorrow, we should say little of the sickness of an hour, and so we rejoice that whether He restores us at once or sustains us through infirmity, His love faileth not.

We pray with you that the Lord would grant you such health of body as shall enable you to be profitable for His service. Bodily exercise profiteth little, yet godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. We do not despise the care of the body, for the Lord would have His people strong to do His will, but we seek first the health of the soul and usefulness in promoting the cause of Christ. And when we seek Him with the fast that He hath chosen, to loose the bands of wickedness and to walk uprightly before Him, He hath promised that our health shall spring forth speedily and that He will answer when we call.

Our Father, we entreat Thee for this dear one who pleads Thy promises. Grant according to Thy wisdom such measure of bodily health as shall fit for daily duty and earnest seeking after Thee. Let the virtue of Christ's atonement be felt in soul and body, forgiving sin and renewing strength. Make this health to be employed for Thy glory, in prayer, in service, and in a life that adoreth Thee for all Thy benefits. We ask this in the name of Jesus our only hope and Healer. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received and we join you in giving thanks for the promises you have named. God has indeed given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Christ, and we praise Him for all His benefits, for He forgives our sins, redeems our lives, and crowns us with steadfast love and mercy.

We pray with you for bodily health and for strength to seek the Lord earnestly and to live for Him. Scripture teaches us that physical training is of some value, while godliness is of value in every way for this life and the life to come. So we ask God to help you care for your body with wisdom and discipline, not enfeebling it with excess and luxury, nor neglecting it, but keeping it strong and fit for service, and to help you grow even more in faith, virtue, knowledge and love.

We remember that when Christ healed Peter's mother-in-law He gave her perfect health at once by His divine power, yet in ordinary life recovery often takes time and care. Even Timothy, who was faithful, had frequent infirmities, and Paul advised him to take practical care for his stomach. In the church we see both the healthy and the sick together, so that the healthy may not become proud about their strength and the sick may receive consolation. Like an excellent physician the Lord shows us both what harms us and what brings true health.

By the stripes of Christ we have first of all the healing of our souls, the forgiveness of sins and peace with God, and we trust His mercy also for our bodies according to His wisdom and love. We do not demand health as if it were owed to us, but we ask for it humbly, that we may use it to do good, to loose bonds of injustice, to share with those in need, and to walk before Him with a cheerful and thankful heart.

So we pray: Father, in the name of Jesus, grant our brother or sister grace and peace multiplied, increase faith and godliness, and grant bodily health and strength as it pleases You. Help them to exercise their body with moderation, to seek You with a sincere heart, and to know Your nearness when they call upon You. Forgive sins, restore strength, satisfy with good, and make their life fruitful for Your glory. Teach them to give thanks in all things and to trust You whether You grant immediate healing or sustain them through a longer path of recovery. May Christ be honored in body and spirit. Amen.
