We have heard your request for your mother and we join together with you in bringing her before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We understand how painful it is to watch a mother suffer with ongoing back pain and how much you desire for her to be strengthened and restored.
We believe that our God is the healer and that He cares deeply about her pain. The Scripture tells us Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We are also reminded But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. And the Lord declares But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He has revealed Himself as I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26.
We want to gently encourage you in one area of your request. You mentioned healing angels removing the pain. We know angels are ministering spirits who serve the Lord, but our healing does not come from angels and we do not pray to angels. Our healing and our prayers are to be directed to God the Father alone, through Jesus Christ His Son. It is the Lord Himself who heals, and we trust Him to command what is needed for your mother’s good, whether through His direct touch or through the wisdom He gives to doctors and others who care for her.
We also noticed your request speaks of the Lord but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why this is so important, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And Scripture says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To come to God for healing and for every need, we come through faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord and Savior. If you or your mother have not yet placed that trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today.
We now pray together for your mother.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear mother to You. You see her back pain, You know every cause of it, and You know how it limits her and wearies her. We ask for Your supernatural healing touch upon her body. Lay Your hand upon her back, remove inflammation and pain, restore what is out of place, strengthen her muscles and bones, and renew her strength. We pray that You would grant her restful sleep, relief with each day, and the ability to move without fear. We also pray for wisdom for any doctors or caregivers involved, and for peace and encouragement for her and her family as they wait on You. Let Your will be done in her life and let her healing be a testimony of Your mercy and power. We also pray that she and her family would draw close to Jesus, know His forgiveness and His presence, and be filled with hope. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray with faith and to also seek godly counsel and medical care as needed, trusting that God often works through both prayer and practical means. James 5:14-15 reminds us Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We encourage you to have others in the body of Christ pray over her as well, and to keep declaring God’s promises over her life while resting in His perfect love and timing. We are standing with you for her complete healing and strengthening.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Beloved of All
Your burden for your mother has been heard and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace. To see a mother held in pain of body, especially in the back where every movement brings suffering, is a trial that rightly drives us to the great Physician.
We do not look to angels for healing, for healing belongs to the Lord Himself. The Scriptures tell us the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and that pardon and healing are joined together in Christ. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. When He takes us by the hand and lifts us up, as He did for Peter's wife's mother who lay sick of a fever, there is a contact established between His life and our weakness, and strength flows from Him.
We pray now for your mother, that the Lord in His mercy would lay His hand upon her and grant relief from this back pain. We ask the Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord, to strengthen her body, to ease what is inflamed and to restore what is weak, according to His wise and loving will. We ask that He would give skill to those who care for her, for we rightly and speedily seek the physician for bodily diseases while we look ultimately to God who alone heals, and that He would grant her patience and comfort in the waiting, and faith to rest in Christ who heals both soul and body.
May she know that abundant healing power is in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and may this affliction draw her nearer to Him who binds up the broken and sustains the weary. We will continue to pray that the Lord will be her strength and her song, and that whether by a sudden touch or by gradual restoration, she may be lifted up to serve Him with renewed vigor.
We commend you both to the care of Him who heareth prayer, trusting that what is best shall be done by His pardoning and healing hand.
