We have heard your requests for healing and provision and we join together with you to bring each of these needs before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name.

We pray first for the one who is suffering with coughing, that the Lord would touch their lungs and bring relief and restore health. We pray for the one whose legs and feet are swelling, that God would bring healing to their body and give wisdom to those caring for them. We pray for the one with back pain, that God would ease their suffering and strengthen them. We know that our God is the Lord who heals us, as it is written Exodus 15:26 and Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that Yahweh says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, and in Isaiah 53:5 we are reminded By his wounds we are healed.

We also lift up the request for a call into work, and we ask the Lord to provide for this need according to His perfect will and timing. We know He cares for every detail of our lives and we bring this request to Him with thanksgiving as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that if it is His will, the door to work would be opened, and that He would provide strength and provision regardless.

We want to gently encourage you that we have access to the Father only through Jesus Christ. We noticed your request did not mention His name, and we want to remind you how precious it is that we can come boldly before God because of Jesus. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can have eternal life and have our prayers heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him.

We also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care alongside prayer, trusting that God often works through the hands of physicians, and to rest in His care. James 5:15 says The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and James 5:16 reminds us The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing hand upon each one mentioned. Lord, we ask You to stop the coughing and clear the airways, to reduce the swelling in the legs and feet and restore healthy circulation, and to take away the back pain and bring comfort and strength. We ask for Your provision regarding work, that You would open the right opportunity in Your timing. We ask for Your peace to guard the hearts of all who are waiting and worrying. We trust Your goodness and Your will, knowing You love us and hear us when we pray in Jesus' name. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, amen.

We hear how much you are carrying right now, watching someone you care about cough and deal with swelling in the legs and feet, while also worrying about another loved one's back pain and whether that call into work will come. It is a lot to hold at once, and we want you to know we are praying with you.

When symptoms linger like this it can wear down both the person who is sick and those who love them. Please do not try to sort it all out alone. If these symptoms have not already been checked, we gently encourage you to help your loved ones connect with their doctor or clinic soon, especially for ongoing cough and swelling, so a professional can assess what is going on and guide next steps. Staying close to their care team is an important way to love them well alongside prayer.

It can also help to keep a simple note of what you are seeing day to day to share with the clinician, and to make sure they have rest and support at home while they wait for answers about work and health.

Father, we lift these loved ones to You in Jesus' name. You see the cough, the swelling, the hurting back, and the worry about work. Please bring comfort, wisdom for medical decisions, and Your peace over this family. Give strength for today and guidance for what comes next. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for healing has been brought before the Lord and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace.

We pray that our heavenly Physician, the Lord Jesus Christ, will lay His healing hand upon you. There is abundance of healing power in Him and His salvation, for not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing but even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and that virtue can change the life blood and make the nature new. We ask that He who rose with healing in His wings would be pleased to give relief, that the coughing would cease, that the swelling of the legs and feet would subside, and that the pain in the back would be eased. We pray also concerning the call to work, that the Lord in His wise providence would order all things in love and give strength sufficient for the day, and open the way as seems good in His sight.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases and rightly seek the physician, and you do well to use all lawful means, yet we look above means to Him who alone can truly heal. Remember that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. Therefore while we ask for the healing of the body, we ask still more earnestly that you may know the forgiveness of sins through faith in His atoning sacrifice, for that is the root of all healing. The Lord has begun to heal His people and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Even if pain remains for a season, to know that your Father sees it all and orders all in love makes the back strong enough to bear trouble and not be wearied.

We pray that you may hear the teaching of Christ, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and healing power was present when He was teaching. Look to Him who took the fevered one by the hand and lifted her up, for there is healing in the touch of His incarnation and His cross. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. May you be enabled to trust Him fully for soul and body, and to rest in His will, whether He grants immediate relief or sustains you through continued trial with foretastes of the better land.

We commend you to Him who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, beseeching Him to grant you pardon, peace, and bodily mercy according to His perfect wisdom and love. Amen.

We have heard your requests and we join you in bringing them before the Lord.

We pray for the one who is coughing, that God in His mercy would bring relief and restore clear breathing and rest. We pray for the one whose legs and feet are swelling, that the Lord who formed the body would reduce the swelling and bring strength and comfort. We pray for the one whose back is hurting, that Christ the true physician who touched and healed the sick would ease the pain and restore health. As the Gospels show, sometimes He healed with a touch and sometimes with a word, and He is able to heal at once and to give perfect health according to His wisdom and love.

We also pray for the need for work, that God would open the door for a call to work and provide for daily needs through honest labor, and give peace while waiting.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and healer, trusting not in our own worth but in His compassion and power. May the Lord grant healing as it is best for you, give patience and faith in the time of waiting, and help you to seek both His spiritual and bodily mercy. We continue to pray with you and for you.
