We join you in lifting up your fiance before the throne of grace and we stand with you seeking God's healing hand upon him in the hospital. We are moved by your love and concern for him and we bring his need before our merciful Father together in Jesus' name.
We rejoice to hear you speak of your fiance, for we believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as ordained by God. We see your engagement as a godly courtship with the goal of marriage that honors the Lord, and we pray that your relationship is centered on Christ and pursues purity until that covenant is made. Scripture reminds us to flee fornication and to honor marriage, for sex before or outside of marriage is fornication or adultery and is outside God's will. We encourage you both to keep your courtship pure and to seek to build a marriage that glorifies God, if you are both believers in Christ walking toward that holy union. As it is written, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled in Hebrews 13:4.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are reconciled to God as in Romans 10:9, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus both for salvation and for approaching God in prayer.
We take comfort that our God is the healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in James 5:15, The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We also remember Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
We now pray together for him.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear fiance who is in the hospital and we ask for Your healing power to rest upon him. Lord, lay Your hand upon his body, ease his pain, restore what is broken or ill, guide the hands and wisdom of the doctors and nurses, and grant him complete recovery according to Your perfect will. We pray for Your peace to guard his heart and mind and for Your comfort and strength to sustain the one who loves him and waits in faith. Draw them both closer to You through this trial, deepen their faith, and prepare them for a godly marriage that honors You if it is Your will. Forgive our sins and cleanse us through the blood of Jesus, and let Your will be done in his life and health. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and healer, amen.

We have heard your request and we join you in prayer for your fiance in hospital, asking the Lord to show mercy in this time of trial and fear.
We are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He is the great Physician, and His hospital has never turned away a patient as incurable. When He healed the sick of the palsy He first said, your sins are forgiven you, to show that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. The same hand that forgives is the hand that heals, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure.
We pray for your fiance now, that the Lord who strengthens His people will lay His hand upon him and raise him up according to His perfect will, granting wisdom and skill to those who provide care, and granting peace and comfort to you as you wait and watch. We pray also for you both, that you would know the healing of the broken heart which comes only through the atonement of Christ suffering in our place, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. May the Lord draw you both to Himself in repentance and faith, and grant you grace to walk in His holy way.
We pray not to affirm what is outside His design, but to seek His best for you. God has ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He calls His people to honor Him with purity, reserving living together and the union of the body for within that covenant. We pray that He will give you wisdom and strength to honor Him in your relationship, and to seek His guidance for your future together in a way that pleases Him.
May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you both with healing in His wings. We encourage you to cast yourself upon Christ, to ask for forgiveness and healing from His pardoning hand, to trust His Word, and to seek the counsel and prayer of faithful pastors in your local church as you walk through this trial.

If it be Your will, restore him to health and strength, ease his pain, and bring him forth from this sickness. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus, heal the heart as well as the body, and draw both these souls to love and obey You.
