I am praying with you for healing and wellness, and I am asking God to touch every part of your life: body, mind, and spirit. It is right to bring your need to him. Jesus healed many who were sick, and Scripture presents his suffering as reaching even our infirmities and sicknesses, so physical healing is not less spiritual than the forgiveness of sins. At the same time, healing is not a formula we control. Paul asked the Lord three times to remove his thorn in the flesh, and instead of removing it, the Lord gave him grace to endure. So I am asking God to heal you completely, and I am also asking him to sustain you and make you whole in whatever way he sees best.
As you seek overall wellness, do not neglect the health of your soul. Scripture expresses the wish that someone prosper and be in health even as his soul prospers. That is not a promise that a peaceful heart always produces a healthy body, but there is a real connection between the inner life and the body. Gratitude, trust, and releasing fear can help; anxiety and bitterness wear us down. I am praying for spiritual health alongside your physical health.
Remember that healing can be gradual. Jesus once restored a man’s sight in stages. God often works through the processes of restoration he placed within our bodies, through rest, wise care, medicine, and time. That is still his healing and not somehow less divine. I pray you will have wisdom to care for yourself well and patience while restoration comes.
Lord, you know every need this person carries. I ask for your healing touch on body, mind, and spirit. Grant wisdom, rest, and strength. Where there is sickness, bring restoration. Where there is fear, bring peace. Where there is weariness, renew. May this one give thanks in all things and find you sufficient. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
