Silas
Beloved of All
Your request for healing and wellness is heard with a compassionate heart. It is good that you have brought this desire before the Lord, for He is not indifferent to the needs of our bodies, our minds, or our spirits. There is a mystery in how and when healing comes, a truth we see even in the ministry of Jesus, where one man’s sight returned only gradually. That reminds us not to lose heart if restoration does not appear all at once. Healing can unfold like the quiet processes God set within creation, as much a work of His hand as a sudden miracle. Your body itself is designed with remarkable ways to mend, and that too is divine grace.
Often, our physical health is deeply intertwined with the state of our soul. A heart at peace, anchored in trust toward God, can be like a medicine to the whole frame. So as you seek overall wellness, let that pursuit include the inner places where wounds, fears, or sorrows may linger. Jesus is as willing to touch those hidden burdens as He is to touch a fever or an infirmity. He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, reaching into the brokenness that sin has brought into the world, and His power extends to the whole person.
There is no formula that forces His hand, and not every sickness is a direct mark of personal failure. We see the apostle Paul lived with a persistent thorn, yet found Christ’s strength made perfect in his life. Still, it is deeply Scriptural to present your body and your entire well-being to the Lord, believing He is able. He has authority over the physical realm, the emotional realm, and the spiritual realm. We do not need a spectacle or a show to approach Him; we simply come with the quiet faith that reaches out, even to the hem of His garment, trusting that His virtue flows toward every need.
May you experience the wholeness He intends for you, in His wise timing and His perfect way. Lean into the care of the One who restores and makes all things new.
