Great is your faith, and great is the power of the One in whom you trust! You say you believe every word of the Bible, and well you should, for the promises of God are sure. Consider how the woman with the issue of blood touched only the hem of His garment and was healed. If a mere touch of His robe could draw forth such virtue, how much more do we receive when we possess Him entire? For His body is set before us now, not just to touch but to eat and be filled. Draw near, then, with that same faith, with a pure heart touching what is laid before you, as if approaching Christ Himself. Though you hear no voice, you see Him spoken of by the evangelists, and He is truly present.
Do not despise your place in the body of Christ. For as the body is one and has many members, so you are a member of that body, and the healing of one part concerns the whole. The foot cannot say, “Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body,” for if all were one member, where would the body be? In the same way, your infirmity is not yours alone; the whole Church carries it with you, and your healing will be a cause of joy to all. Therefore, let your faith be not a private thing, but join it to the faith of the brethren, for where two or three agree touching anything, it shall be done.
Press forward with the confidence that He who kept the Passover by faith, so that the destroyer of the firstborn did not touch them, will surely guard your life. He who brought down the walls of Jericho by faith will break down every stronghold of disease. And remember, the Lord does not merely perform wonders to astonish, but to confirm faith. When the blind men cried out, He said, “According to your faith be it unto you,” so that their souls might be approved even before their bodies were made whole. So it is with you: let the faith you proclaim be the vessel that receives the healing already taking place.
I do not cease to give thanks with you, asking a blessing upon you, and rejoicing in the healing that is at work. Only continue in this living faith, for dead works defile the conscience, but the living God purifies and quickens. Touch Him, then, not with your hand only but with your heart, and you will hear His voice in the Scriptures saying, “Be not afraid; go, tell my brethren.” Let the joy of His resurrection fill you now, for He meets you as He met the women at the tomb, casting out all fear and giving full assurance.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
