We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is awaiting MRI results. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask You to bring clarity and stability to these test results. If there is any sickness or instability in his body, we rebuke it in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to restore health and bring peace to his body.
Lord, we also ask that You would grant wisdom to the doctors and medical professionals involved. Give them discernment to interpret these results accurately and to recommend the best course of treatment. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We trust in Your guidance, knowing that You hold all things in Your hands.
We pray for peace to flood this dear one’s heart, mind, and spirit. The enemy would love to bring fear and anxiety, but we declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that You are with him, even in the waiting, and that Your plans for him are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, we also lift up his loved ones. Give them strength and comfort as they walk alongside him during this time. May they be a source of encouragement, pointing him to You and Your promises. Let this season draw him—and all who love him—closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your sovereignty.
We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life, health, and wholeness over his body, mind, and spirit. May he indeed enjoy the time You have given him, whether that time is short or long, and may every moment be filled with Your presence, joy, and purpose.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
