We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is battling kidney and liver disease. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every cell in our bodies. We declare Your Word over this situation: *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15 WEB). Lord, we ask for complete healing and restoration of these vital organs. Strengthen the body, renew the cells, and let Your healing power flow like a river.
We also recognize, Father, that sickness can sometimes be a result of sin or a call to draw nearer to You. If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of life not surrendered to You, we ask that You reveal it in love. *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB). We pray for repentance, forgiveness, and a deeper walk with You, for true healing begins in the spirit.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, this one is healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We stand on Your promise that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17 WEB) and that You will satisfy with long life (Psalm 91:16 WEB). We speak life, not death; health, not sickness; and faith, not fear.
We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments. May they be instruments of Your healing as well. *"The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work make his praise glorious"* (Psalm 111:10 WEB).
Lastly, Father, if this one does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we pray for their salvation. There is no true healing—body, soul, or spirit—apart from the blood of Jesus. *"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). We ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the fullness of life in Christ.
We trust You, Lord, for a miracle. We believe in Your power to heal, and we wait expectantly for Your answer. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
