We stand with you in faith, lifting your health concerns to the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust in His healing power. The fear you feel is understandable, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and holds our very lives in His hands. Scripture reminds us, *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15). We believe in the power of prayer, just as you do, and we join our voices with yours, asking the Lord to bring restoration to your liver and every part of your body that is afflicted.
We also want to encourage you with the truth that God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His timing is perfect. While we pray boldly for your healing, we also surrender to His will, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Even in the midst of uncertainty, we can find peace in His presence. Jesus Himself said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We pray that you would feel His peace washing over you, calming your fears and filling you with hope.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now as one body in Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and restore health to every part of their body that is not functioning as it should. We declare Your promises over them—that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith, even in the waiting, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, we pray that You would reveal it to them so that they may be cleansed and made whole in spirit, soul, and body. We trust in Your goodness, Lord, and we ask that You would be glorified through this situation, whether through healing, endurance, or the testimony of Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We also want to gently remind you to seek godly wisdom in this time. While we believe in the power of prayer, we also know that God often works through the hands of doctors, medicine, and the wisdom He provides. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We encourage you to seek medical advice and follow the guidance of professionals while continuing to trust in the Lord’s provision.
Lastly, we want to stand with you not just in prayer, but in practical ways as well. If you need encouragement, someone to talk to, or even help with daily tasks while you recover, do not hesitate to reach out to your church family or trusted believers. Galatians 6:2 reminds us, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* You are not alone in this journey, and we are here to walk alongside you. May the Lord bless you with His presence, His peace, and His healing power.
