We join with you in earnest prayer, lifting your health before the throne of grace. The fear you feel is understandable, but we encourage you to place your trust fully in the Lord, who is your healer. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* The Lord is not only able to heal, but He is also near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear can indeed worsen physical ailments, so we pray that you would cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let your heart be steadfast, trusting in the Lord’s promises, for He is faithful.
We also want to gently remind you that while we believe in the power of prayer and God’s ability to perform miracles, healing may come in ways we do not expect or on a timeline different from our own. It is important to seek wise medical counsel alongside prayer, as the Lord often works through the hands of physicians and the wisdom He provides. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is struggling with fear and illness in their liver. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore their body completely. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on the promise that You hear the prayers of Your people. Father, calm their fears and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect will, whether that be healing in this life or the ultimate healing in Your presence.
We rebuke any spirit of sickness or infirmity that seeks to harm their body, and we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We pray for wisdom for their doctors and for Your guiding hand to lead them to the right treatments and care. Lord, we ask that You would wake them each morning with renewed strength and the assurance of Your love. May they feel Your presence surrounding them, comforting them, and reminding them that they are never alone.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we declare that Your will be done in this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with believers who can uplift you in faith. Remember that the Lord is close to you, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in trusting His promises. You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
