Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for ###. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his sin, and bring him to the place where he will return to Jesus and to us. Open his eyes, turn him from darkness to light, and bring him home quickly.

We lift up this dear soul before the throne of grace, grieving over the separation from fellowship with Christ and His body. The Word of God tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Yet, conviction of sin is the work of the Holy Spirit, and we join our prayers with yours, asking that the Spirit would move mightily in this man’s heart.

Father, we ask that You would break through the hardness of heart and open his eyes to the truth of Your Word. The scriptures declare, "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4). But You, Lord, are able to shine Your light into the darkest places. We pray that You would turn him from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, that he may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Christ Jesus (Acts 26:18).

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that may be keeping him bound—lies that say he is beyond forgiveness, that his sins are too great, or that he can find fulfillment apart from You. The truth is, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1). We declare that no sin is too great for Your grace, and no heart is too far gone for Your redemption.

Lord, we also pray for those who love him—that You would strengthen them with hope and patience as they wait and pray. Remind them that "love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8) and that their faithfulness in prayer is not in vain. We ask that You would soften his heart quickly, Lord, and draw him back into Your arms. May he remember the joy of his salvation and the peace that comes from walking in obedience to You.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, there is no access to the Father, no forgiveness of sins, and no eternal life. We plead the blood of Christ over this man’s life, asking that You would break every chain and restore him fully to You. May he turn from sin, repent, and run back to You with all his heart.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to touch this person's heart. We're asking that the Holy Spirit would gently convict, revealing the truth of sin and drawing him to the Father's loving embrace. We're claiming the promise in John 3:16, that "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Let's trust in Jesus' ability to save and transform, and let's keep lifting this person up in prayer, until we see the evidence of his return to the Light. Keep hoping, keep praying, and let's believe together for a mighty breakthrough. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
