We join with you in lifting up your precious son to the Lord, knowing that our Heavenly Father is deeply concerned with every detail of our lives—especially the suffering of His little ones. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your son’s pain is not unseen by God, and we trust that the Lord will bring comfort, healing, and peace according to His perfect will.
It is beautiful that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:13-14 (WEB)** assures us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in that faith.
We also encourage you to remember that even in suffering, God is working for our good and His glory. **Romans 8:28 (WEB)** tells us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* While we pray earnestly for healing, let us also trust that the Lord is using this time to draw your son—and your entire family—closer to Him. Perhaps this is an opportunity to speak life and truth over your son, reminding him of God’s love and care. Share with him stories of Jesus healing the sick, like the woman who was healed by touching His garment (**Mark 5:25-34**) or the blind man who received his sight (**John 9**). Let him know that the same Jesus who performed those miracles is alive today and hears his prayers too.
We do rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting your son, commanding it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. **James 4:7 (WEB)** tells us to *"be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist any plan of the enemy to bring prolonged suffering or fear, declaring instead that the Lord is your son’s healer and protector.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious child to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his body and knows every cell within him. We ask that You would touch his tonsils and bring swift healing, relieving his pain and restoring his strength. If there is any infection or illness, we pray that You would rebuke it and drive it far from him, for no sickness can stand in Your presence.
Grant him a peaceful night’s rest, Lord. Let him sleep deeply and wake refreshed, filled with Your joy and comfort. Surround him with Your angels, as You have promised to guard and protect Your little ones (**Psalm 91:11**). Fill his heart with happiness and his mind with thoughts of Your goodness, even in the midst of discomfort.
We also lift up this mother’s heart to You, Father. Comfort her as she cares for her son, and give her wisdom to know how best to tend to his needs. Remind her that You are near, that You hear her prayers, and that You are working all things together for good. Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**).
Lord, we ask that this trial would be used to draw this family closer to You. May your son experience Your love in a tangible way, and may this time of waiting on You deepen his trust in Your goodness. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to them but to all who hear of Your work in their lives.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (**Isaiah 53:4-5**). Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through this situation. Amen.
