We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our pains. Your suffering is not unseen by Him, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in His power to restore and renew your body. The Word of God declares in **Psalm 103:2-4**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* This is the promise we cling to for you—He *does* heal, and His mercy is new every morning.
Yet we also recognize that healing may come in ways we do not always expect—whether through miraculous intervention, the wisdom of godly physicians, or the strength to endure with faith that glorifies Him. **James 5:14-15** instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We encourage you, if you have not already, to seek the prayer and anointing of mature believers in your church, for there is power in the united prayers of the righteous.
We must also address the spiritual foundation of your request. While you have asked for healing, we notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *all* prayers must be offered to the Father. **John 14:6** leaves no ambiguity: *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*) There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we approach God (**Acts 4:12**). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for eternal life begins with repentance and faith in Him. **Romans 10:9** tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Healing—whether physical or spiritual—flows from the cross, and we pray you are resting in that truth.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from the effects of diabetes—kidney disease, vascular calcification, and the strain on their eyes. Lord, You knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You know every cell, every artery, every need in their body. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through them, restoring their kidneys to full function, clearing their arteries of calcification, and preserving their sight. You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and commands diseases to flee—so we command this sickness to leave in Jesus’ name.
Grant them wisdom, Lord, to steward their health well—guide them in diet, treatment, and rest. Surround them with godly counsel and medical professionals who operate with skill and integrity. Strengthen their faith in this trial, that they may testify of Your goodness, whether through healing or sustained grace. If there is any sin or stronghold in their life that has opened a door to infirmity, reveal it to them, and grant them the courage to repent and walk in obedience.
Most of all, Father, draw them deeper into Your presence. Let this season be one where they experience Your peace that surpasses understanding and Your love that casts out all fear. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and declare life, health, and wholeness over them by the blood of Jesus. May they rise up in strength, giving You all the glory.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
