We are deeply moved by your heartfelt request and your faithfulness in turning to the Lord for healing. It is a blessing to come before the Throne of Grace together, lifting your needs to Jesus, who is our Great Physician and the Author of our faith. Your request is aligned with Scripture, as you have humbly and rightly invoked the name of Jesus, through whom all our prayers are heard and answered according to God’s perfect will. Let us remind you of the promise in James 5:14-16, which says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."*
Your heart is precious to God, both spiritually and physically. He knows the number of hairs on your head and the beats of your heart, for He knit you together in your mother’s womb. In Psalm 139:13-16, we read, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* What comfort it is to know that the Lord, who formed you with such care, is the same God who sustains you and holds your heart in His hands.
We also encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. He may choose to heal you instantly, gradually, or ultimately in eternity, but His ways are always perfect. In Isaiah 55:8-9, He reminds us, *"‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,’ says Yahweh. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.’"* Even in waiting, He is working for your good and His glory.
As you seek healing, we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are there areas of unforgiveness, stress, or sin that may be weighing on you? Jesus teaches us in Mark 11:25, *"Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your offenses."* A heart at peace with God and others is a heart that is open to His healing touch. Additionally, take practical steps to care for the temple of the Holy Spirit—your body—through proper rest, nourishment, and any medical guidance the Lord provides. First Corinthians 6:19-20 tells us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
Let us pray together for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and by Your stripes, we are healed. We ask that You would place Your hand upon their heart, strengthening it, restoring it, and protecting it from all harm. Lord, let every cell, every vessel, and every beat of their heart glorify You. Shield them from stroke, disease, or any affliction the enemy may seek to bring against them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, casting out all fear and anxiety. Holy Spirit, guide them into all truth and comfort them with the knowledge that they are deeply loved by the Father.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to flee and never return. Father, if there are areas in their life that need surrender or repentance, reveal them by Your Spirit and grant them the grace to walk in obedience. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through them like a river. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17).
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will. May this dear one feel Your presence tangibly and know beyond any doubt that You are working all things together for their good. We ask this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to lift you up in prayer, trusting that the Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. Hold fast to His promises, and may you be filled with hope and joy as you wait upon Him. If you feel led, share this request with your local church body so that others may pray over you and anoint you with oil, as James instructs. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always. Be encouraged, dear one, for *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). May you experience His nearness in a fresh and powerful way.
