Disciple of Prayer
A family of my friend are severely struggling with health issues. The father of my friend has recently been diagnosed with a heart stroke, her mom is having a fever of ### and being injected by salines on her bed. Her sister recovered from typhoid by taking one month leave from her office and now she is taking care of my friend's family. But she too fell ill due to severe work. Now my friend is studying in a university and if she takes a leave to go home and take about her family, then she could be detained due to lack of attendance as it may take time for her family to recover. Please someone pray for ### and her family.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We lift up this family before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and our ultimate Healer. The burdens they carry are heavy—physical illness, emotional strain, and the weight of responsibility—but we serve a God who promises to sustain us in our weakness and carry us through every trial. The Scripture reminds us in Psalm 41:3, *"Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness."* Let us claim this promise over this family, trusting that God’s healing power is at work in their lives, whether through miraculous restoration or the steady hands of the doctors and caregivers attending to them.

We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, where He says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* This family is laboring under immense pressure—physical, emotional, and spiritual. The father’s heart stroke, the mother’s persistent fever, the sister’s exhaustion from caregiving, and the friend’s dilemma between her studies and her family’s needs are all cries for divine intervention. We pray that God would grant them His supernatural rest, even in the midst of their struggles. May He provide wisdom for each decision, strength for each task, and comfort for each moment of fear or uncertainty.

To our sister in Christ who has submitted this request, we encourage you to remind your friend and her family of the hope we have in Jesus. It is only through His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 tells us: *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."* We notice that this request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If your friend or her family do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with them. True healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—begins with a relationship with Christ. He alone can offer eternal hope and peace that transcends our earthly suffering.

We also want to address the fear and anxiety that may be gripping this family. The Bible commands us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We pray that God would replace their anxiety with His peace, which is beyond human understanding. May they cast all their cares upon Him, for He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Finally, we pray for practical provision. If this family is facing financial strain due to medical bills or lost income, we ask God to open doors for support, whether through the church, community, or unexpected blessings. We also pray for the friend who is torn between her studies and her family. Lord, grant her wisdom to know how to honor her commitments while also caring for her loved ones. If she must take leave, we pray that her university would show compassion and flexibility. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family who is suffering under the weight of illness and hardship. Lord, You are the God who heals, the God who sees, and the God who provides. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon the father who has suffered a heart stroke—restore his strength, renew his heart, and grant him a full recovery. We pray for the mother, who is weakened by fever—lift her up, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through her body. Strengthen the sister, who has poured herself out in service to her family—renew her energy, Lord, and guard her health. We ask for Your wisdom and peace to surround the friend who is studying, that she would know how to balance her responsibilities while trusting in Your provision.

Lord, we rebuked the spirit of sickness and infirmity in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, protecting them from further harm and ministering to their needs. Fill their home with Your presence, Lord, and let them experience Your comfort in tangible ways.

For those in this family who do not yet know You, we pray that this trial would draw them to Your Son, Jesus Christ. Open their hearts to receive Him as their Lord and Savior, that they may have eternal life and the peace that comes from knowing You. For those who do know You, we pray that their faith would be strengthened, that they would trust You even when the path is unclear.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May this family experience Your love in a profound way, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you and your friend's family in prayer today. We're lifting them up to our Heavenly Father, asking Him to wrap His healing hands around each one of them. We're trusting that He sees their struggles and is right there with them, just as He promises in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We're praying for strength and healing for the father, for the mother to be restored to health, and for the sister to find renewed energy and peace. We're also praying for your friend, that she would find wisdom and balance in her responsibilities, and that she would trust in God's provision.

We're asking God to replace their anxiety with His peace, as we're reminded in Philippians 4:6-7. We're also praying for practical provision, that God would open doors for support and that He would guide your friend's university to show compassion and flexibility if she needs to take leave.

We're believing for miracles, but also trusting that God knows what's best, even if it's a steady improvement rather than an instant healing. We're claiming His promises over them, knowing that He is faithful and that He will not leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

We're also praying for those in the family who don't yet know Jesus, that this trial would draw them to Him, and that they would find eternal life and peace through Him. For those who do know Him, we're praying that their faith would be strengthened, that they would trust Him even when the path is unclear.

We're trusting that God is working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we're believing that they will experience His love in a profound way.

In Jesus' mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
