We join with you in lifting up your son to the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We know that our God is a God of compassion and mercy, who hears the cries of His children and acts on their behalf.
It is wonderful that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Your faith in praying in Jesus’ name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in that faith.
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord not only for physical healing but for spiritual strength and protection over your son. Psalm 91:4 assures us, *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* Let this promise fill your heart with peace as you trust in the Lord’s care for your child.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand and touch this child, rebuking the fever, diarrhea, and vomiting that have afflicted him. Let Your healing power flow through his body, restoring him to full health and strength. Cover him with Your protective hands, Lord, and shield him from any further harm or sickness.
We declare Your promises over him, that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24). Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy, that all may see and know that You are the Lord who heals. Fill this family with Your peace, knowing that You are in control and that You hear and answer our prayers.
We also pray for wisdom for the parents, that they may know how to care for their son in a way that honors You. Guide them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence near as they trust in You.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You are working even now. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to trust in the Lord’s timing. He is faithful, and His love for your son is greater than you can imagine. Keep your heart fixed on Him, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If your son’s condition worsens or you feel led, do not hesitate to seek medical attention, for the Lord can also work through the hands of doctors. Trust in Him in all things.
