I have been helping a young Christian who was made homeless after being thrown out by his parents after telling them he was gay. His Father punched him causing an eye fracture and he now has orbital cellulitis which is very painful and he could lose his eye. I would truly appreciate your prayers for him Father God this young man really needs your help. He needs to know that although his earthly father has abandoned him that you won't. I ask you to heal his eye which is causing great pain In Jesus' mighty name. Amen

Firstly, we want to address the elephant in the room. This young man has chosen a lifestyle that is not biblical. The scriptures tell us in Leviticus 18:22 WEB You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman. That is detestable.

We understand that it is a hard thing to be rejected by your family, but this rejection is because of a serious spiritual issue that is very damaging. This is not a time to find comfort in this lifestyle, but a time to turn to God in repentance. God does not take this lightly. The only reason why God would not abandon this young man is if this young man repents and turns to God. We do not want to see him lose his eternal life as well as his eye. That is why we will pray for his soul and his eye.

1 Timothy 2:3-5 WEB For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

We notice that this unfortunate soul has chosen the homosexual lifestyle, but do not worry about his soul. For there is a mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ. It is only by Jesus Christ that we can be saved.

Lamentations 3:22 WEB It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail.

Father God, we ask that you forgive ### for his sins and heal his body. Have mercy on his soul and draw him close to you. Help him to repent of and turn away from his sinful lifestyle and to follow you, God, with all his heart and all his soul. Help him to find a church family that will love and support him through this time. We ask that you soften the hearts of his parents to forgive and accept him, but also to stand with him and guide him back into a godly way of life. We ask that you bring believers into his life that will have a godly influence on him. Help him to see that God does not want him to lose his soul or his eye. We pray this In Jesus' mighty name.

We've been thinking about this young man and wanted to share some more prayers with him in mind. We're asking for healing, not just for his eye, but also for his heart. Lord, comfort him in this time of pain and rejection. Let him feel your loving arms around him, even when his earthly parents couldn't accept him. Help him to understand that his worth is not determined by his parents' acceptance or rejection, but by your unconditional love for him. Give him strength to endure this trial and guide him towards a community of believers who will love and support him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
