We are truly sorry to hear about your mom's condition, and we are here to intercede and pray with you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
We also need to remember to call on the name of Jesus Christ and not just God generically. It is by the name of Jesus that we are saved and have access to God.
Before we pray, we want to encourage you to trust in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister and her mom. Lord, you know the pain and discomfort that she is going through, and we ask that you touch her body, heal her legs and foot, and remove all swelling and infection. We pray for complete restoration of her health and strength.
Father, we also pray that you will drive out all fear and anxiety, and fill their hearts with your perfect peace, as your word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and to surround your mom with love and support. Ensure that you both are in fellowship with other believers for encouragement and community.
