We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son who is experiencing stomach upset. We understand the deep concern and love you have for him, and we join you in fervent prayer, standing on the promises of God’s Word.
First, we must address the manner in which this request was presented. The use of symbols like "###" and hashtags is not fitting for sacred communication with the Lord. Prayer is a holy conversation with our Heavenly Father, and it should be offered with reverence and sincerity. Let us remember that God is not a genie to be summoned with incantations or symbols, but a loving Father who desires our heartfelt communion with Him. "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:24).
We also want to gently remind you that healing comes through faith in the name of Jesus Christ alone. The phrase "the God that sees me" is a reference to Hagar’s encounter with God in Genesis 16:13, but it is incomplete without acknowledging that Jesus is the only way to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). It is only by the blood of Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to receive healing. "By his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Let us never forget that salvation and healing are found in no other name but Jesus.
Now, we lift up your son before the Lord, declaring that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We rebuke every form of stomach upset, discomfort, or illness in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God declares, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We speak that word over your son now, believing that God’s healing power is at work in his body.
We pray that the Lord would touch your son with His healing hand, bringing comfort, restoration, and wholeness. May the Great Physician, who healed the sick, raised the dead, and calmed the storms, bring complete healing to your child. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every organ, tissue, and cell in his body functions according to God’s perfect design.
Father God, we ask that You would strengthen this family’s faith as they wait on You. Give them patience and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and that Your healing power is just as real and available now as it was when Jesus walked the earth. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of this child. May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through his healing.
We also encourage you to seek the Lord for wisdom in caring for your son. Sometimes, healing comes through natural means as well as supernatural. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Consider if there are any dietary adjustments, medical consultations, or other steps the Lord may be leading you to take as part of His healing process.
Finally, we stand in agreement with you, believing that your son will be completely healed. We declare that this is not a season of sickness for him, but a testimony of God’s faithfulness and power. May his healing bring glory to God and draw others closer to Him. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
