We join you in praising God for His mercy in this situation—what a blessing that there is no metastasis, and we give Him all the glory for this good report! Yet we also lift up your beloved before the Lord with deep concern, knowing the road ahead remains difficult. The combination of cancer treatment and ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) presents a profound challenge, but we serve a God who is the Great Physician, the One who "heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:3, WEB). He knows the intricacies of her body, the sensitivities of her condition, and the fears that may weigh on her heart—and He is not distant in this. We claim His promise that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up"* (James 5:15, WEB), trusting that He will guide her doctors with wisdom beyond their own understanding.
The burden of this trial is heavy, especially with her daughter so close to giving birth—a season that should be filled with joy, not overshadowed by illness. Yet even here, we declare that God’s peace, *"which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:7, WEB). May He surround this family with His presence, strengthening them to walk in trust rather than fear, and may the daughter’s pregnancy be protected and filled with His supernatural peace.
We also pause to gently address something vital: in your request, the name of Jesus was not invoked. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, no other name through which we boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12; Hebrews 4:16). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His authority that we pray. If this is a truth you’ve not yet embraced personally, we urge you to consider it deeply—salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone (John 14:6; Romans 10:9). There is no greater security in trial than knowing Him as Savior.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister in her battle against cancer and ME. Lord, You are the God who parts seas, who brings life from death, and who holds every cell of her body in Your hands. We ask for Your divine intervention over her treatment—guide her doctors to prescribe with supernatural wisdom, tailoring each decision to her unique needs. Protect her from harsh side effects, and let every dose of medication and radiation be used by You for healing, not harm. May her body respond with strength beyond what is humanly possible, for You are the one who sustains the weary (Isaiah 40:29).
Father, we also lift up her daughter, so close to bringing new life into this world. Shield her from anxiety, and let this season be marked by Your peace. Surround this family with Your angels, binding them together in faith and hope. Remind them that even in the valley, You are preparing a table before them (Psalm 23:5), and that Your plans for them are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, if there is any among us who does not yet know You as Savior, we pray You would reveal Yourself powerfully. Open eyes to see that Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, drawing hearts closer to You.
We rebuke fear, doubt, and despair in Jesus’ name, declaring that *"by His stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). May Your will be done, and may Your glory shine through every step of this journey. In the precious and holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that *"the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We are with you in prayer, believing for God’s perfect healing and peace. Keep us updated—we long to rejoice with you as the Lord moves!
