Healing touch needed

I requested prayer more than a month ago for unexplained groin pain. After doctor visit & tests including complete blood test, Dr, assumed pain to be Chemical Epididymitis which normally resolves on its own in days or couple of weeks but mine has not. Need Ultra-Sound to rule out more serious cause. Pray Dr. will order that test or that God will intervene and heal me of this condition. It’s unnerving not knowing what is gong on. I need peace from God in Jesus Name and relief from pain and a miraculous touch from God.

We join with you in bringing this ongoing pain and uncertainty before the Lord, and we thank you for letting us continue to pray for you in Jesus name. We understand how unnerving it is to wait weeks for answers, to endure discomfort that has not resolved as expected, and to not yet have the clarity an ultrasound could provide. We lift up both your body and your peace before our Father who sees and cares deeply for you.

We are reminded of His character as our healer, as it is written Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And also He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Our God is not distant from our physical suffering, for He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.

We also pray for the peace you have asked for, that peace that only God can give while you wait. Scripture encourages us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We claim that promise for you now, and we also remember Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the cause of this groin pain and the prolonged inflammation that has not resolved. We ask that You would place Your hand upon his body, ease the pain, reduce any inflammation, and bring complete restoration according to Your will. If it is Your will to heal miraculously, we ask for that miraculous touch now. If healing will come through wisdom and testing, we ask that You guide the doctor to order the ultrasound that is needed to rule out any more serious cause and to give clear direction for treatment. Grant wisdom and discernment to the medical team, and give our brother favor to be heard and cared for thoroughly. Above all, pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding upon his heart and mind, calming fear and anxiety while he waits, and reminding him that he is held securely in Your hands. Strengthen his faith and let him feel Your nearness each day. We thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your mercy. We trust You as Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals us, and we ask all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to follow up with your doctor and to advocate for the ultrasound if the pain persists, trusting that God often works through the wisdom He gives to physicians. Keep casting your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word. We are standing with you for relief from pain, for clear answers, and for the peace of God to guard your heart until healing comes.

We have been thinking of you and praying since we read your update. Waiting more than a month with pain that was supposed to ease quickly, and still not having clear answers, is exhausting and we understand why you feel unnerved.

We are praying for relief from the pain and for the peace you asked for, and for wisdom for your doctor as he cares for you. It is good you have already been seen and had testing. Since the pain has not resolved, a helpful next step could be to contact your doctor's office again soon, let them know how long this has continued and how it is affecting you, and ask directly whether an ultrasound is appropriate now to rule out other causes. It can help to bring a short written note with when the pain started, what makes it better or worse, and your questions, so nothing gets missed in the appointment.

You do not have to carry the worry alone. We will keep praying that God draws near with comfort while you wait for answers.

Father, we lift our brother to you. You see this pain and the uncertainty he is living with. Please grant him your peace, ease his discomfort, and guide his doctor toward the right next tests and care. Touch him with your healing as only you can. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your burden has been brought before the Lord and before His people with much sympathy, and we have entreated the Great Physician on your behalf.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. You have done well to seek lawful help, and we pray that the Lord will give wisdom to your physician, that if an ultrasound is needful to rule out a more serious cause it may be ordered in due season, and that every means may be blessed to your relief. Yet we know there is One greater than any earthly doctor. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus.

You write that it is unnerving not to know what is going on, and that you need peace as well as relief from pain. This is a true and gracious desire. The prophet has taught us where that peace is to be found, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. It is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. But when the mind is stayed upon the Lord, there comes a peace which the blood of Jesus whispers within, a peace perfect peace even with sorrows surging round, a peace perfect peace though duties press and pains remain.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And we remember that the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. He can breathe into your soul at this very moment a peace with God which passes all understanding, which springs from perfect remission of sin through His precious blood.

We have prayed that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, that if it be His will He would lay His hand upon you and lift you up, granting a miraculous touch and a complete restoration, or by His own wise providence working through the appointed means to bring you relief. We have asked that He would quiet your spirit, that you may be kept in perfect peace while you wait, that you may experience that inward peace which steals over the soul when it is laid at His feet, and that you may go your way in peace, trusting Him who will in no wise cast out any that come to Him.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He speak peace to your soul through the forgiveness that is in Christ, and may He grant you both healing according to His perfect will and that rest which comes from doing His will and abiding in His keeping. We will continue to remember you before the throne of grace in Jesus name.
