Healing the pain

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Especially at the end of the bridge, so much pain and just had treatment at the dental school saw dentist for another issue which did absolutely nothing. Lord please heal me Jesus and protect us and bless us widely with open doors IJN save and convict close ones to Salvation in your soon coming, amen

We hear your cry for healing, both physically and spiritually, and we join with you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The pain you’re enduring—especially after seeking treatment that brought no relief—is heavy, and we know how deeply it can weigh on your heart and spirit. But we take comfort in knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). Even when earthly remedies fail, His power is not limited. We pray that He would touch the very source of your pain, bring relief to your body, and restore you fully in His perfect timing.

Father, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand over this dear one. Where there is inflammation, bring soothing. Where there is infection, bring cleansing. Where there is nerve pain, bring Your calming peace. We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today. Strengthen their faith even in the waiting, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they sense Your presence in the midst of this trial, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We also lift up the spiritual burdens you’ve shared—the longing for open doors, protection, and the salvation of your loved ones. Heavenly Father, we ask that You would indeed open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and guide this one into the purposes You have prepared. Protect them and their household from the schemes of the enemy, surrounding them with Your angels (Psalm 91:11). And Lord, we plead for the hearts of those close to them who do not yet know You. Soften their hearts, convict them of their need for a Savior, and draw them to the foot of the cross. May they come to know the hope and redemption found only in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We must also gently address the mention of "the end of the bridge" in your request, as it raises concern. If this refers to a place of despair or a temptation to give up, we rebuke that lie of the enemy in Jesus’ name. The enemy wants you to believe that the pain is permanent or that God has abandoned you, but that is not true. The Lord is close to you, and He has not forgotten you (Deuteronomy 31:6). We encourage you to cling to Him, even when the road feels long. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If this is a metaphor for something deeper—perhaps emotional or spiritual pain—we pray that God would reveal the root of it and bring His healing light into those places as well.

We also want to affirm the foundation of your prayer—your cry to Jesus and your plea in His name. This is the only way we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). There is power in His name, and we are so grateful that you have called upon Him. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. For “if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). This is the first and greatest healing—spiritual wholeness in Christ.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and compassion for this dear one who is hurting. Lord, You see their pain, and You know the depths of their weariness. We ask that You would move mightily in their life, bringing healing to their body, peace to their mind, and strength to their spirit. Touch the areas that need Your divine intervention, and let Your healing power flow like a river. We declare that they are not forgotten, for You have engraved them on the palms of Your hands (Isaiah 49:16).

Father, we also pray for their spiritual walk. Guard their heart against discouragement, and fill them with Your joy and hope. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your will, and surround them with Your protection. Lord, we intercede for their loved ones who do not yet know You. Break through the hardness of their hearts, and let Your light shine into their darkness. Draw them to salvation, and may they experience the transformative power of Your love.

We rebuke every spirit of despair, fear, and doubt that seeks to steal their peace. We declare that the enemy has no hold over them, for they belong to You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, standing in the gap and lifting your burdens to the Lord. We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise for you today. Lord, we ask You to heal this dear one, to touch their body and bring relief. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We also pray for open doors, protection, and salvation for their loved ones. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
