Healing, stress, anxiety

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, I ask for healing over my body, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety in Jesus name Amen

We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. We join our hearts with yours, seeking the Lord’s mercy and peace in this time of struggle.

The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." We take comfort in knowing that the Lord sees your pain and hears your cry. He is not distant from your suffering but draws near to bring comfort and restoration.

We also hold fast to Philippians 4:6-7, which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Anxiety and stress do not have to rule over you, for the peace of God stands as a guard over your heart when you bring your burdens to Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. We lift up this dear one who is battling physical ailments, stress, and anxiety. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore their body. Where there is pain, bring relief. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is weariness, renew their spirit.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and stress in the name of Jesus. We declare that these burdens are not from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We break every chain of worry and fear that seeks to bind this child of Yours. Fill them instead with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we ask that You would remind them of Your constant presence. When the weight of the world feels heavy, let them feel Your arms carrying them. When their mind races with fear, let them rest in the assurance of Your promises. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also pray for wisdom, Father. If there are steps they need to take, whether in seeking medical care, making lifestyle changes, or setting boundaries, guide them clearly. Give them discernment to know Your will and the strength to walk in it.

Above all, Lord, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. May they experience Your love in deeper ways and grow in trust as they see Your faithfulness. Remind them that even in the valley, You are with them, and Your rod and Your staff comfort them (Psalm 23:4).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, even when the journey feels long. The enemy may whisper lies of despair, but God’s Word stands true. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His faithfulness, such as Isaiah 41:10: "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

If your anxiety or stress feels overwhelming, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a trusted Christian friend, or a professional who honors biblical principles. You do not have to walk this path alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in prayer and encouragement.

Lastly, we remind you that your identity is found in Christ. You are not defined by your struggles but by the One who loves you and gave Himself for you. Rest in His grace, and let His peace rule in your heart.

We hear the weight in your words, the longing for healing in your body, a break from stress, and release from the grip of anxiety. Please know you’re not facing this alone. We are standing with you before the Lord, and He is near to those who call on Him.

Sometimes anxiety and stress can feel like they’ll never lift, and the journey toward peace can seem slow. It’s not unusual to cry out for immediate deliverance and then feel discouraged when it doesn’t come all at once. But healing often unfolds in layers. God meets us in the process, through prayer, through wise steps we take, and through the support of people around us. Be patient with yourself. The fact that you’re still reaching out says something strong about your faith.

One thing that often helps is setting aside a few quiet minutes each day simply to pour out your worries before God, no need for polished words, just honesty. It can also be a strength, not a weakness, to invite a trusted friend or pastor to pray with you regularly. We are made to carry burdens together. If the physical symptoms of anxiety are affecting your daily life, don’t hesitate to see a doctor. God works through the wisdom of medicine as well as through prayer.

Let’s bring this to Him now:

Father, we lift up this dear one who needs Your healing touch. In Jesus’ name, we ask for relief from stress and deliverance from anxiety. Quiet their racing thoughts, calm their body, and grant them deep rest. If there is anything that needs attention, physical, emotional, or spiritual, make it clear and open the right doors for help. Surround them with people who will uphold them, and let them feel Your steady presence holding them secure. Amen.

The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast it, then, upon the Lord, for He careth for you. Pain of body wraps up within itself great mercy, for there are some who can scarcely be taught at all except through physical pain, yet do not doubt your deliverance, for God has provided a ransom, a gift of Divine Love.

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. O you who are now sick, ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Pardon and healing are one. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings upon every soul that sits in the midnight of despair.

You have been chastened sorely, but the Lord has not given you over unto death. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles, we would have less to declare. What does the man know about the sea who has only walked on the beach? Your deliverance must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, that no atom of the honor might go to yourself, it is of Free Grace only. Look continually to Him, find in His wounds your healing, in His death your life, and thank God, who has delivered you from the power of darkness and translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son.

Hush your anxieties about the body and the cause of God alike, for your heavenly Father knows your needs. He makes deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings you forth. The clock of mercy will strike the hour and moment, for the eternal purpose of Jehovah has decreed it. God bless you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you ask healing for your body and relief from stress and anxiety, consider carefully whether it is only the flesh you seek to mend. For what profit is it if the body grows strong while the soul remains soft and unmanly, still clinging to worldly cares? True deliverance from anxiety is not found in the absence of trouble but in contempt of earthly things. The Apostle shows that we may eat and drink without anxious questioning, for the Lord’s bounty suffices, and He frees us from such slavery when we fix our hope entirely on Him. But if we are remiss in hearing the word, if we refuse to cultivate fortitude and detachment, no bodily ease will grant lasting peace.

I shudder when I remember the words of the Lord, for not the sickness of the body but the fire that is never quenched should terrify us. Your stress and fear can be messengers driving you to repentance. Seek the healing of the soul through fasting, alms, and attentive listening to the Scriptures, as to God Himself speaking. It may be that after many remedies and long patience, the cure suddenly appears. Do not be like those who trust their forefathers’ reports but refuse the clear evidence of Christ’s miracles. He came not to send a false peace but a sword, to sever you from the passions that breed anxiety. Take up that sword, cut away every worldly attachment, and lay hold of the true healing that endures to eternal life.
