We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. We join our hearts with yours, standing on the promise that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). We recognize that you have called upon the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this dear one. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit according to Your will. Lord, we know that stress and anxiety can weigh heavily on the heart, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. We declare peace over this situation, for You have said, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful" (John 14:27).
Father, we ask that You would fill this precious one with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let their requests be made known to You (Philippians 4:6).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there are areas in their life that are contributing to this stress and anxiety, reveal them so that they may address them with Your guidance. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, health, and wholeness over their body, mind, and emotions. May they experience the joy of the Lord, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

The plea for healing, for relief from stress, for deliverance from anxiety, it is a cry that rises from the very center of the human condition. You ask for the Lord to act upon your body and your mind, and it is right that you bring this before Him who formed you. Yet consider this: the very anxiety that comes from your difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To fix your gaze upon the storm is to forget that the Master of the storm is in the vessel with you. Do not be seeking relief merely as an end in itself, but seek the Healer. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and the least thing about Christ possesses a restorative power that goes beyond the easing of a troubled mind or a weary frame. Look to Jesus upon the Cross, and find in His wounds your healing, and in His death your life.
You speak of stress and anxiety as though they were the chief enemies, but the far weightier matter is the health of your soul. Pain of body, heavy though it is, often wraps up within itself great mercy. There are some who can scarcely be taught at all except through physical pain. The clock of mercy strikes in Heaven at the hour decreed by eternal purpose, and the deliverance comes not merely for your comfort, but for His glory. When you are brought to the end of all your own strength, you will never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to yourself, it must be of Free Grace only. The Lord delivers, and the deliverance is effectual. He brings you forth. Do not think that your turmoil is unnoticed. Has He, who wrote your name in wounds upon His hand and on His side, has He forgotten? He cannot forget. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and when He comes and dwells with you, pardon and healing are one. Today, the body is dead because of sin, though the spirit is life because of righteousness, but the regeneration of the body is promised. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
Look now not to the size of your trouble, but to the greatness of your Deliverer. Israel was brought out with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person in their tribes. That strength came not from their own resources, but from the outstretched arm of Jehovah. So for you, the Lord shall whisper to your heart in trial that you shall not be crushed. And when the deliverance comes, it will not be for you to keep silence, but to live and declare the works of the Lord. The very trial that now wears upon your spirit will become the theme of your song of gratitude. What will you know of the sea if you have only walked on the beach? These deep waters are the school where you learn the Lord’s delivering hand. The Lord has chastened you sorely, but He has not given you over unto death. Be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you. Rise from your despondency and trust Him who has found a ransom, for He makes His deliverance effectual, and in every deed He brings you forth.
