We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. First, we want to acknowledge that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We are grateful that you have recognized this truth, and we join with you in seeking God’s will in this matter.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We take comfort in knowing that God hears your cries and invites you to cast all your anxieties upon Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your body, mind, and spirit are precious to Him, and He desires to bring you wholeness and peace.
We also recognize that stress and anxiety can often stem from trying to carry burdens that are too heavy for us. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." We pray that you would find rest in Him, trusting that He is in control of every situation you face.
Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would bring restoration to their body, mind, and spirit. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, stress, and anxiety in the name of Jesus, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will perfect that which concerns them (Psalm 138:8).
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your presence be a comfort to them in times of trouble, and may they experience the joy of Your salvation. We pray that You would strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in times of need (Psalm 46:1). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment in their daily life. Guide their steps and order their days according to Your will. Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship that will encourage and uplift them. May they find solace in Your Word, meditating on it day and night so that they may prosper in all they do (Joshua 1:8).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We declare that healing is theirs, peace is theirs, and victory is theirs in Christ Jesus. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings and experience the abundant life that You have promised.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
