We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. We join with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and power, for it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* The Lord is our healer, and we trust in His promise to restore your body, mind, and spirit according to His perfect will.
We also recognize that stress and anxiety can weigh heavily on the heart, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* The peace of God is available to you, and we pray that He would calm your heart and mind as you surrender your burdens to Him.
Father God, we ask that You lay Your healing hand upon this dear one. Strengthen their body, soothe their mind, and fill their spirit with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Deliver them from the grip of anxiety and replace it with the assurance of Your presence. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke every spirit of fear and oppression in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also encourage you to draw near to the Lord in this season, spending time in His Word and in prayer. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His faithfulness and love, such as Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let these truths anchor your soul and remind you of His nearness.
Lord, we ask that You would surround this one with Your love and comfort. Provide them with godly community to walk alongside them, and give them wisdom to care for their body, mind, and spirit in ways that honor You. May they experience Your healing touch in every area of their life, and may their faith grow stronger as they witness Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the Author of our salvation. Amen.
