We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. First, we want to acknowledge that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We are thankful that you have recognized this truth, and we join you in praying in the powerful name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we stand in agreement with this dear one, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We trust in Your promise to restore and heal. Lord, we ask that You would bring comfort to their physical ailments and grant them strength where there is weakness. Let Your healing power flow through every part of their body, bringing restoration and wholeness.
We also lift up their struggle with stress and anxiety. Father, we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in the name of Jesus and ask that You would replace it with Your perfect peace. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We encourage you to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When the waves of anxiety and stress threaten to overwhelm, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Spend time in God’s Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it will renew your mind and strengthen your spirit.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, for He hears the cries of His children. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this battle, and God is near to you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and deliver. We ask that You would touch this dear one with Your healing hand, bringing restoration to their body. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and stress in the name of Jesus, and we ask that You would fill them with Your perfect peace. Guard their heart and mind, and let them experience the comfort that only You can provide. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care deeply for them. Strengthen their faith and remind them of Your promises. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
