We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. First, we want to acknowledge that you have called upon the name of Jesus, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We are grateful that you have recognized this truth, and we stand with you in agreement, praying in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father God, we lift up this dear one who is seeking Your healing touch. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon their body. Bring restoration where there is pain, strength where there is weakness, and peace where there is turmoil. We trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also bring before You the heavy burdens of stress and anxiety that weigh upon their heart. Your Word instructs us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Father, we ask that You would replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace. Calm their mind, steady their heart, and remind them that You are in control. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life and peace over this situation, trusting that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Fill your mind with scriptures that remind you of God’s faithfulness, love, and power. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with and for you, and who can speak truth into your life. Remember, the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Do not let the lies of the enemy take root in your heart. Instead, stand firm on the promises of God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon their body. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would bring relief from stress and anxiety, replacing them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You completely. We rebuke every spirit of fear and declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them each step of the way. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
