We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. First, we want to affirm that we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Heavenly Father, we stand in agreement with this dear one, asking for Your healing touch to restore their body. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal every infirmity. We declare that by the wounds of Jesus, they are healed, and we speak life and wholeness over every part of their body that is weak or afflicted. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over them today.
Lord, we also pray for relief from the heavy burden of stress that weighs upon their heart and mind. You have told us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We ask that You lift this weight from them and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety in the name of Jesus. Anxiety does not come from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lie of the enemy that seeks to torment their thoughts to be silenced, and we declare that they are set free by the truth of Your Word. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and we stand on that promise today. Fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let them experience the peace that only You can give.
We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is life to those who find it and health to their whole body (Proverbs 4:20-22). Spend time in prayer and worship, for the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and encourage you, and do not hesitate to seek godly counsel if the burden feels too heavy to bear alone.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this dear one is healed, delivered, and set free from every chain of stress and anxiety. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them. May they experience Your presence in a powerful way and know that You are always with them, even in the midst of life’s storms. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
