We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for healing, relief from stress, and deliverance from anxiety. We join our voices with yours, declaring that our God is the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and our ever-present help in times of trouble.
Beloved, we know that the cares of this world can weigh heavily upon us, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We take comfort in knowing that when we cast our anxieties upon Him, He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
We also stand on the promise of healing found in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe that God is able to restore you to full health, according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the source of all healing and peace. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking that You touch their body with Your healing hand. We pray that You would relieve the stress and anxiety that has taken hold, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we ask that You guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, helping them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity, stress, and anxiety in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, our brother/sister is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and wholeness over every part of their body, mind, and spirit. Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them strength and courage to face each day with the knowledge that You are with them.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment, Lord, that they may know Your will for their life and have the strength to walk in it. Help them to draw near to You, and in doing so, find the peace and healing that only You can provide. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
