We come before You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of faith and trust in Your healing power and sovereign will. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise." We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician who can restore health to body, mind, and spirit.
Lord, we lift up this dear one who is burdened with physical ailments, stress, and anxiety. We know that these struggles are not from You, for Your Word tells us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, and worry in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we ask that You would touch this precious one with Your healing hand. Bring relief to every area of pain and discomfort, and replace stress and anxiety with Your perfect peace. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We also encourage this beloved child of God to seek wise counsel and medical help if needed, for You often work through the hands and knowledge of others. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we pray that You would draw this one closer to You through this trial. May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word. Help them to meditate on Your promises day and night, so that they may be like a tree planted by the streams of water, yielding fruit in season and prospering in all they do (Psalm 1:2-3).
We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, this one is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we thank You for the victory that is already won. May they walk in the freedom and wholeness that You have provided through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, we also take a moment to ensure that this dear one knows the saving grace of Your Son. For it is written, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet confessed Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so today, receiving the gift of salvation and the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
