Healing, strength, peace

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, please heal my son ### physically, mentally, and spiritually. Renew his strength and restore his peace, In Jesus name Amen

We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, dear brother or sister in Christ, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your prayer is a powerful declaration of faith, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s healing touch over every area of your son’s life, body, mind, and spirit.

The Word of God assures us that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we stand on this promise today. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, anxiety, and despair that may be afflicting him, for Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that your son is not defined by his struggles but by the victory Christ has already won on the cross.

Father, we ask You to pour out Your healing virtue upon him. Strengthen his body where it is weak, calm his mind where it is troubled, and renew his spirit with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). May he feel Your presence surrounding him like a shield, reminding him that he is never alone.

We also pray for wisdom for those caring for him, doctors, counselors, and loved ones, guiding their hands and words according to Your perfect will. May Your glory be revealed through his healing, drawing others closer to You.

Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your goodness. Even when the path is difficult, we know that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Give your family the grace to wait expectantly, holding fast to hope in Christ.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We are holding your son up with you tonight, and we are honored to do it. There is something deeply right about a mother who will not stop asking Jesus to touch her son’s whole self: body, mind, and spirit. That kind of steady, specific love is a gift you are already giving him, even before you see the changes you are asking for.

One thing we have seen over the years is that you do not have to carry this heavy request alone. Let a few trusted people around you know exactly what you are asking God to do, and let them keep praying with you in person or by phone. It is amazing how often God uses the voices of others to settle peace into a parent’s heart when their own words run dry.

In our prayer, we are asking for your son right now:

Lord Jesus, you know this son inside and out. We ask you to bring genuine healing to his body wherever it is struggling, quiet clarity to his mind where thoughts may be tangled or weary, and a deep, steady peace to his spirit. Renew the strength he has lost, and restore the sense of your nearness. And for this mother, give her quiet confidence while she waits, a rest inside that does not depend on quick answers but trusts your timing. Cover all of this in your mercy, we pray, in your strong name. Amen.

When a mother prays thus for her son, she touches the heart of the great Physician. The cry for healing, strength, and peace rises to the throne, and it is a cry that He delights to answer, for He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength.

This strength must be drawn from the Lord alone. All strength apart from God is not strength at all, and must come to an end. Let ### learn to wait upon the Lord, for they that wait upon Him shall renew their strength. It may be that strength comes gradually, many a child of God, when weary, has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy. If he feels he has something to do that is beyond him, let him stop, breathe a prayer for more strength, and then in the name of Him who will surely bear him over, take the leap and succeed. We must remember that the glory of man's strength, whether physical or mental, belongs to God, and He ought to have the service of that strength. But the higher and nobler strength is spiritual, to be strengthened with might in the inner man through the effectual working of His Son.

And what of peace? Perfect peace, peace, peace, this is the portion of the one whose mind is stayed on Jehovah because he trusts in Him. When sorrows surge round, peace gleams with a heavenly light. It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul. Let ### trust in Jesus, and the blood of Jesus will whisper peace within. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. And as for his loved ones far away, in Jesus' keeping he and they are safe. There is a peace which passes all understanding, springing from the perfect remission of sin, and it is a present possession to be enjoyed even now.

Healing comes from that same dear Lord, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ, the leaves, as it were, is full of healing virtue. When Jesus healed the sick, He often linked healing with the teaching of the Gospel, and ultimately the healing cuts were borne by Himself: with His stripes we are healed. He took our sicknesses and our infirmities. Pardon and healing are one, first forgiveness, then health. Many a time, when all our own strength fails, our strength is to sit still while God arises and becomes our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.

Lay hold of that blessed truth: when stripped of all strength and power, we gain a glorious salvation in the Lord Jesus. He can breathe into ###’s soul at this very moment a peace which flows from His healing grace. Let him come to Christ, the great conduit-head from whom abundant streams of healing flow, and find all he needs.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

You ask for healing, strength, and peace for your son, and rightly you call upon the Father in the name of Jesus. Grace and peace flow from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who has made us, once His enemies, to be sons. Yet know that the peace He gives is not always the peace the world expects. The Lord Himself said, “I came not to send peace, but a sword.” There is a peace that is evil, the peace of robbers agreeing together, the peace of the diseased limb that the physician must cut off for the whole body to live. True peace, the peace that reconciles earth to heaven, is born of grace and brings with it the sword that severs sin. If your son is entangled in any sickness of soul, the healing may come through the cutting away of what is corrupt, not by pleasant agreement with his desires, but by a merciful severance that restores spiritual health. Let your prayer, then, be not merely for ease of body and mind, but that whatever in him wars against God be put to death, so that the true peace of Christ may reign.

Take courage, for many who have long seemed deaf to the word are suddenly transformed. As a tree withstands many strokes yet falls by a single, final blow, so the soul that has heard repeatedly without visible fruit may at last, by one more word or one more trial, be brought to full conversion. If your son remains insensible, do not cease your prayers or your holy admonitions. The fact that you yearn for his healing and bring him before God is itself a sign that grace is at work. Even at the very gates of despair, recovery is possible, and strength can be renewed. The Lord who kept silence before His accusers, entrusting judgment to the Father, knows the hour and the manner of deliverance. Trust His timing.

And while you wait, guard your own faith with the strictest care. Let no one persuade you to turn aside to amulets, incantations, or any so‑called remedies that borrow from the darkness. Even if those who sell them say they call upon God, the thing is idolatry. There is no remedy but the cross. A mother who, when her child is sick, refuses all superstitious protections and clings only to the sign of the cross, sacrificing her child, as it were, to the will of God, is counted as a martyr. If you would see your son healed, be first a martyr in resolve: say, “The cross is my only weapon, my only medicine; I know no other.” Not by mystical fancies, but by holding fast to the clear word of God, do we obtain true piety.

Know, too, that every believer has an angel who beholds the face of the Father. Yet the demon also prowls. Therefore when you ask for peace, ask for the peace that the Church gives with the words “Peace be unto all,” the peace that is the mother of all good things. This peace is not a truce with sin, but the reconciliation that comes from the Son of God, who is not merely a king of Israel, as Nathanael thought, but very God, the Creator and Redeemer of the world. So confess Him rightly: Jesus is the Son of God in truth, and in His name alone is there salvation, strength, and lasting peace.

Hear His commandment, for He said, “He that heareth these sayings loveth Me;” and he that loveth Me loveth the Father also. The proof of love is obedience. If your son is to be healed spiritually, he must learn to keep the words of Christ, and you must teach him by your own faithful endurance. Continue ceaselessly in prayer, bringing him before the throne of grace, and let your life be a witness that the only healing balm is the gospel. May the grace that brought you from enmity to sonship keep you firm, and may the peace that passes understanding guard your heart and your son’s, until the day when every wound is bound up and every tear is wiped away by the hand of Him who is our true Physician and our everlasting Peace.

Many of the prayers that reach us here echo the same cry you have lifted for your son: healing, renewed strength, and the restoration of peace. There is something powerful about bringing all three together, because they are far more connected than we often realize. The apostle John once prayed for a friend’s health in direct proportion to the prosperity of his soul, and we continue to discover how deeply the physical body is affected by what weighs on the mind and spirit. A heart at rest truly can be like medicine, while a troubled spirit dries the bones. That is why I am encouraged that you asked for spiritual healing right alongside the physical and mental.

When we look at Jesus in the Gospels, He never separated our physical suffering from His saving work. The prophet Isaiah declared that by His wounds we are healed, and Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, deliberately applies that promise to the moment Jesus healed the sick and cast out demons in Peter’s house. The stripes laid on the Son of God carried away not only sin but also the brokenness of our bodies and minds. He is still the Prince of Peace, and the government of the entire universe rests securely on His shoulders. That means the peace He offers is not fragile; it has the full authority of His throne behind it.

Sometimes we see an immediate lifting of illness, and other times the healing unfolds gradually, working through the processes God Himself designed within the human body. A gradual restoration is no less divine. Whether the change is quick or slow, we can trust that the same Christ who commanded the winds and restored Peter’s mother-in-law with just a touch remains attentive to every detail of your son’s need right now. His strength is made perfect where ours runs out, and He invites us to lean on Him when energy fails.

Remember, too, that God’s ultimate witness to us is this: He has given us eternal life, and that life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life. Healing in this age is precious, but the deepest peace springs from knowing that your son belongs, body and soul, to the One who gave Himself for him. When we hold to that truth, a peace that surpasses human understanding begins to guard the heart and mind, sometimes even baffling those who expect us to despair.

I encourage you to keep praying with the same confidence, not as people who demand a timetable, but as those who know the voice of the Good Shepherd. Speak peace and strength over your son in Jesus’ name, and remind him of the record God has given about His Son: that all judgment has been committed to Him, and that He honors the faith of those who cry out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” He has never turned away a sincere seeker. May the Lord renew your son’s strength day by day and let him experience the wholeness that comes from abiding in the Prince of Peace.
