It is not the world’s fleeting calm but an unshakable confidence that God is in control, a peace that surpasses human understanding and can guard his heart and mind in Christ. As you pray for his peace, you are asking the Prince of Peace Himself to stand watch over his inner world. That peace remains steady even when outward circumstances do not change, and it becomes a quiet testimony of God’s presence.
When strength runs out, we learn where true power is found. David prayed, “Forsake me not when my strength fails,” and he knew the Lord was his strength. Ask the Lord to be your son’s strength in every kind of weakness, physical fatigue, mental exhaustion, spiritual weariness. The life of the Son is the source, and those who have the Son have life. That life is not just future but present, sustaining, and able to renew him day by day.
