We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, interceding with hearts full of compassion and faith in the healing power of our Lord. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Your Word declares in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We stand on this promise, believing that by His stripes, your son is healed—body, mind, and spirit.
Lord, we ask You to touch him with Your healing hand. Where there is pain, bring comfort; where there is weakness, renew his strength as You promised in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Let him feel Your presence surrounding him, filling him with peace that surpasses all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also pray for his spiritual well-being, Father. Draw him closer to You, that he may know Your love and grace in a deeper way. If there are areas in his life where he has strayed from Your will, convict his heart gently and lead him back to the path of righteousness. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let him find rest in You, for You have said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be afflicting him, for Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We command every sickness, disease, and infirmity to leave his body in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Father, we also ask that You strengthen the entire family during this time. Give them faith to trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. Surround them with Your love and the support of the body of Christ, that they may encourage one another and bear each other’s burdens, as Galatians 6:2 instructs, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
We declare that your son is healed, whole, and restored, for Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already won through the blood of Jesus Christ. We trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
