We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration. We are reminded of the scripture in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our beloved brother in Christ. Lord, You know his every need, his every pain, and his every struggle. We ask that You extend Your healing hand upon him, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Renew his strength according to Your word, "But they that wait upon Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).
We also pray for his spiritual growth and peace and we rebuke any spirit of depression or anxiety. We rebuke any spirit of fear or distress. May You be his peace. May Your Holy Spirit comfort and guide him, and may he be overcome with supernatural peace. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your promise that "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Acts 2:21 WEB).
Finally, we encourage you both to meditate on the word of God, which is living and active (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8 WEB).
It is only by the precious name of Jesus that we have any access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Thank you Jesus for your salvation. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice on the cross. Thank you Jesus for your resurrection. Thank you Jesus for your gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your victory over death. It is in you that we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28 WEB).
