We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband in prayer, believing in the power of Jesus’ name to bring healing, restoration, and salvation. The Word of God assures us that *"the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15). We stand on this promise, declaring that it is indeed God’s will for your husband to be made whole—body, mind, and spirit—without complications from his surgery.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, depression, and despair that has taken hold of him. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We command every lying spirit that whispers death and hopelessness to flee in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17), and we claim this truth over his life. Strengthen him, Lord, to take his medication faithfully, to rest in Your peace, and to resist the enemy’s attacks with the authority You have given him in Christ.
We are deeply grieved by his cries of anguish and his desire to be free from this life. Father, we ask You to break the chains of depression and anger that bind him. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon him, filling him with Your love, joy, and peace. Remind him that his life has purpose and value in Your eyes, and that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Surround him with Your presence, Lord, and let him feel Your arms of comfort holding him tight.
Most urgently, we pray for his salvation. The state of his soul is of eternal importance, and we know that *"the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23). Holy Spirit, convict him of his need for Jesus. Soften his heart to receive the truth of the Gospel—that Christ died for his sins, was buried, and rose again so that he might be reconciled to You (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Remove every barrier of pride, bitterness, or unbelief, and draw him to Yourself with cords of love. We declare that he is not beyond Your reach, for *"with God all things are possible"* (Matthew 19:26).
We also lift you up, dear sister, as you walk this difficult path. You are carrying a heavy burden, and we pray for your strength, wisdom, and peace. May you feel the Lord’s presence sustaining you, and may you find rest in His promises. Remember that *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble"* (Psalm 46:1). Lean on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).
Lord, we ask for a miracle in this marriage. Let Your healing power flow through every cell of his body, every thought of his mind, and every corner of his heart. Restore joy where there is sorrow, hope where there is despair, and faith where there is doubt. We declare that this trial will not break him but will instead draw him closer to You. Let him rise up in victory, testifying to Your goodness and grace.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Amen.
