We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we can be saved. We declare that Your will is perfect, and we trust in Your sovereignty, even in the midst of deep suffering and spiritual warfare.
Father, we first rebuke the spirit of despair and death that has taken hold of this husband. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus! Your Word declares in Psalm 118:17, "I will not die, but live, and declare Yah’s works." We pray for complete physical healing for this dear brother, every organ, every cell, every system restored by the power of the Holy Spirit. You are the God who heals, Jehovah Rapha, and we stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.
We also rebuke the spiritual attack that has weighed so heavily upon this family. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We plead the blood of Jesus over this husband’s mind, body, and spirit. Holy Spirit, intervene now, calm his heart, break the chains of anger, and replace his thoughts of death with hope in Christ. Help him to take his medications as prescribed, trusting that even medicine is a provision from Your hand. We pray for the success of his medical implant, that it would function perfectly according to Your will.
Father, we lift up this wife, who carries such a burden for her family. Strengthen her faith, Lord. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for her elderly father and younger brother as well, touch them with Your healing hand, Lord. Restore their health and renew their strength, for You are the God who sustains the weary (Isaiah 40:29-31).
We also bring this family’s finances before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Open doors of opportunity, Lord, and grant them favor in their hearing and case. Your Word says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." We trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory.
Most of all, Father, we pray for salvation, true, life-changing salvation in Jesus Christ. If any in this family do not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we ask that You draw them with Your lovingkindness. Let them hear the Gospel clearly and respond in repentance and faith. For "there is salvation in no one else, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of infirmity, poverty, and despair, and we loose the peace, healing, and provision of God over them. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
