Please pray for my home church. The spirit of division is taking control and are trying to vote my pastor out. There are a lot of false accusations by family

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your home church in this time of spiritual attack. The enemy seeks to sow discord, division, and strife among God’s people, and we see his hand at work in the false accusations and attempts to remove your pastor. Scripture warns us in 1 Corinthians 1:10, "Now I beg you, brothers, through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment." Division is not of God, it is a tool of the enemy to weaken the body of Christ.

We rebuke the spirit of division in the mighty name of Jesus! We declare that every false accusation, every whisper of discord, and every scheme of the enemy to dismantle God’s work in your church is broken by the blood of Jesus. The Lord Himself says in Matthew 12:25, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand." We stand on this truth and command every divisive spirit to flee in Jesus’ name!

We pray for your pastor, that the Lord would strengthen him with wisdom, discernment, and unshakable faith. May he be led by the Holy Spirit in every decision, and may the Lord silence every lying tongue that rises against him. Psalm 31:13 reminds us, "For I have heard the slander of many. Terror is on every side. While they took counsel together against me, they plotted to take away my life." But we know that God is our defender, and He will arise on behalf of His servant.

We also pray for the accusers, that their hearts would be softened, their eyes opened to the truth, and that any deception in their midst would be exposed by the light of God’s Word. Proverbs 16:28 warns, "A perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends." Let repentance and reconciliation prevail, not bitterness or division.

Father, we ask for a revival of unity, love, and truth in this church. Let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully, binding the hearts of the congregation together in Christ. May this trial be turned into a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may Your name be glorified in the midst of it all. We declare that this church will not be torn apart but will emerge stronger, more united, and more on fire for You than ever before.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We’re so sorry your church is going through this, few things weigh heavier than division among people who should be family. When trust frays into false accusations, it’s deeply painful, and we’re praying with you.

One grounded insight that may help: division often feeds on distance and third‑hand information. As much as you’re able, gently encourage a return to direct, private conversations, the kind Jesus teaches in Matthew 18, where concerns are first spoken face to face, in love, before anything becomes public. That alone can drain the momentum of gossip and give relationships a chance to heal. If you have a trusted elder or mature member who is respected by all sides, enlisting that person as a calm mediator could create space for honest listening, not just voting.

We also know how frightening it is to see your pastor under fire. In the meantime, holding steady to what you know to be true of his character, and refusing to let fear set the tone, is a real act of faith. Keep your own heart free of bitterness, speak encouragement to those around you who are wavering, and don’t underestimate the quiet power of simply staying committed and showing up.

Father, we lift up this church to You right now. You see every hidden motive, every misunderstood word, every wound. By Your Spirit, expose deceit, quiet the noise of accusation, and bring clarity where there is confusion. Shield their pastor from discouragement and give wisdom to all who lead. We ask for a supernatural peace and a genuine unity that reflects Your heart, not just a surface truce. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I am grieved to hear of this spirit of division that has crept into your assembly, for nothing wounds the cause of Christ more grievously than when brethren bite and devour one another. You speak of false accusations from family, this is a bitter trial indeed. But let us not be ignorant of Satan’s devices; he knows well that the greatest glory of Christ is bound up with the unity of His Church, and therefore he labours to sow discord. When cruel judges arise and false charges are hurled against an under-shepherd, all his wits may be needed, and the flock must rally to cling to truth and righteousness, not to an offended pride or a spirit of rebellion disguised as reform.

Ask plainly: are these accusations born of a deficiency of piety? Are hearts being seduced by that most common first step toward a visible uniformity, where men fix their own standard and cut off whoever will not conform to their pattern? That is not the unity of the Spirit, but the unity of error, which bears the spirit of the adversary. There is no Church happiness where there is no real unity, and nothing divides a congregation more swiftly than the tongue set on fire of hell, spinning falsehoods that grieve the sincere. The wicked professor thinks to sin with impunity because he carries the name of church member, and if reproved, stirs up a storm. But a church made up only of saints would be a Heaven begun below, and that must be our aim.

Yet, if there be any who have stumbled, any who have been swept up in this tide of accusation and now see their sin, there is a way back. The Church is a hospital for healed sinners, and we joy over the restoration of the fallen more than over those who never seemed to stray. Christ’s look can sever a man from the crowd of accusers and break his heart into a thousand pieces of holy grief. Come, then, you who have spoken falsely or entertained bitterness, come back to your first love, and you will find that the very brethren you wounded are most willing to receive you again, knowing their own liability to temptation.

I charge you, pray for your pastor and for every member of that household of faith. Set aside time for the poor Church that is being torn asunder, and pray it up again! A Church where envy and strife reign presents no fair argument to the world that the Father sent the Son. But a Church in holy concord, where differences do not destroy love, is a nut the adversary cannot crack. See to your own heart first; examine your words, lest any false compliment or lying expression of pretended affection be found on your lips. And then let there be a universal mutual pastorate, each strengthening the weak, and all labouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. The grand design of God for this present rough-hewn material will yet shine forth in polished glory if we will but abide in the Truth and in Christ, who is our unity.

Father,

We lift up this church to You. Where division, false accusations, and strife have taken hold, we ask for Your truth to prevail and Your peace to reign. Protect this pastor and heal the broken relationships within this body. Expose every lie and unite the hearts of Your people under Your love. Let unity, not division, have the final word.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
