Beloved of All
Your prayer for ### is heard, and it is right to bring him before the Father in the name of Jesus. God sees the struggles he is carrying, the panic that takes hold of his body and mind, the heavy weight of past trauma, and the restless nights. Like the mother who named her sons out of her affliction saying God has seen and God has heard, the Lord sees and hears you and ### now. He knows what it is to be unloved and afflicted and afraid, and He draws near with mercy and grace.
The comfort we have is that God has given His only begotten Son, and that Son is not a created being but the eternal Son of God. There is no other way into life. The Scripture says he who has the Son has life, and he who does not have the Son does not have life. Salvation and acceptance with God come only through Jesus, and the invitation is open to all to come and drink of the water of life freely. For ###, the deepest healing begins with being found in Christ, trusting Him as the Son of God who died and rose again. When Jesus found the man who had been born blind and had been cast out, He asked him, Do you believe on the Son of God, and revealed Himself as the one who was speaking to him. That same Jesus still reveals Himself and gives life to those who believe. God is not a man that He should lie, and His word cannot be broken. What He has promised He will do.
We can also trust Jesus for physical and mental healing as well as spiritual healing. In His ministry He spoke a word in one place and healed a nobleman's son many miles away, showing His power is not limited by distance. He opened the eyes of a man born blind and restored him completely. Those works were the works of the Father done through the Son, so that all would honor the Son. He is the same today, and we can ask Him to touch ###'s body, to quiet his mind when panic rises, to calm his nervous system, and to restore him wholly.
Remember the heart of the Father toward a son who has wandered or is broken. When the prodigal returned, the father did not wait for him to clean himself up or earn his place back. While he was still in his filth, the father ran to him, embraced him and covered him with kisses, and put sandals on his feet as a sign that he was still a son and not a servant. That is how the Father receives those who turn to Him through Jesus, not as hired hands but as sons. ### does not have to fix himself before coming to God. He can come as he is and be restored to his place as a beloved child.
For his sleep and nightmares, there is a precious promise that when the word and wisdom of God are bound upon the heart, they will lead you when you go, keep you when you sleep, and speak to you when you awake. Pray that the Lord will keep him through the night, remove the shadows of trauma, and let him wake in peace. May the Lord replace fear with His presence and give him strength for each day.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring ### before You. Have mercy and bring restoration physically, mentally and spiritually. Grant him deep, peaceful sleep without nightmares and let him wake with a calm and renewed spirit. Bring comfort, healing and breakthrough in every area of his life, and above all draw him to believe and abide in Your Son, that he may have life. We trust Your faithful word and Your love that gave Your only Son for us. Amen.
