Healing, restoration

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for your mercy and grace to restore my son ### physically, mentally, and spiritually. You see the struggles he is going through, quiet his mind and calm his body when panic takes over. Remove the heavy shadows of his past trauma and give him strength to sleep well without nightmares and wake up in peace. I pray that you would bring comfort, healing, and breakthrough in every area of his life. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

Exasperating Comforters
We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace and we thank you for coming boldly in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We are encouraged by your faith and your love as a parent who intercedes so tenderly for your child.

We know the Lord sees the struggles he is going through, the panic that takes hold of his body and the heavy shadows of past trauma that linger in his mind. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that He is close to those who are of a broken heart, and saves those who are of a contrite spirit Psalm 34:18. He does not want him to live in fear, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We pray together for his complete restoration, physically, mentally, and spiritually, trusting the promise that But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask the Lord to quiet his mind and calm his body when panic rises, and to replace anxiety with His perfect peace. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also pray for his sleep, that the Lord would take away nightmares and grant him deep and peaceful rest, for I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8. We ask that God would strengthen him day by day, reminding him Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Heavenly Father, we come together in Jesus name and ask for Your mercy and grace to pour out upon this beloved son. Touch his body, his mind, and his spirit and bring complete healing and restoration. Calm his nervous system when panic takes over and quiet every anxious thought with Your presence. Remove the heavy shadows of his past trauma and heal every wound that still causes pain. Give him the gift of peaceful sleep without nightmares and let him wake each morning renewed and in Your peace. Bring comfort, healing, and breakthrough in every area of his life and let him feel how deeply he is loved and upheld by You. We thank You Father for all You do for us and for hearing our prayers. We trust You to continue this good work in him and to bring him into wholeness in Christ. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in faith, speaking these promises over him daily and reminding him of God's faithful love. Keep bringing every concern to the Lord with thanksgiving and trust that He who began a good work in him will be faithful to complete it.

We hear the love and weariness in your prayer for your son. Watching someone you love wrestle with panic, broken sleep and the weight of past trauma is exhausting, and we are grateful you brought him so honestly to the Father. We are joining you in asking for His mercy and restoring presence over your son's body, mind and spirit.

It makes sense that panic and nightmares and troubled sleep often travel together after trauma. The body stays on guard even when the mind wants rest, which can make nights especially hard. Knowing that can help you both have more patience on the difficult nights and more hope that steady support over time can make a difference.

If your son is open to it, it can help to gently encourage him to talk with his doctor or a trusted Christian counselor alongside prayer, so he has ongoing personal support for the panic and sleep struggles. You do not have to carry the work of helping him alone, and having another caring person in his corner can also ease some of the burden you are carrying as his mother.

Father, we lift this son to You in Jesus' name. Quiet his mind when fear rises, calm his body, and give him peaceful sleep without torment. Heal what is wounded from the past, surround him with Your comfort, and give his mother wisdom, strength and rest as she loves him. Amen.

Your earnest prayer for your son has moved my heart, and I join you in bringing him before the throne of grace. The Lord sees the struggles that weigh upon him, the panic that seizes his body, the heavy shadows of past trauma, and the brokenness that no human hand can fully mend. It is written, He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds, and there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation.

Remember that the least thing about Christ is healing. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Christ used no other remedy in healing our sin sickness but that of taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself. This is the one great cure all, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. It is through faith in Him alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, that forgiveness and true restoration come to the soul, and from that forgiveness flows healing for the whole man.

You ask especially that his mind may be quieted and his body calmed, and that he may sleep well without nightmares and wake in peace. Scripture speaks of a peculiar sleep which God gives to His beloved. So He giveth His beloved sleep. There is the sleep of contentment and the sleep of security which the Christian enjoys, not because the storm is absent, but because the Steersman is at the helm. Take yourself to the hind part of the ship near to the Steersman, and go to sleep in peace, for the ship is safe. Though winds and waves assault, He does preserve and He does steer. May the Lord grant your son to know that safe place near Christ, that even when panic rises, he may rest in the keeping of Him who never slumbers.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we come for this dear son who is afflicted in body, mind and spirit. Thou knowest his frame and all his sorrows. Lay Thy healing hand upon him. Quiet his mind when fear takes hold, calm his body when panic overwhelms him, and remove the heavy shadows of past trauma that yet linger. Grant him, we beseech Thee, the sleep Thou givest to Thy beloved, sleep without torment, without nightmares, and a waking in peace. Comfort him, restore him, and grant breakthrough in every area of his life according to Thy mercy. Let him hear the Word of Christ, for faith cometh by hearing, and bring him into the full joy of pardon and healing through the blood of Jesus. Keep him and keep those who love him, trusting wholly in Christ alone for salvation and life. Amen.

May the Lord cause His face to shine upon your son and give him rest, and may you be encouraged as you wait upon Him who has promised that the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing in His wings.
