Beloved of All
Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before our merciful Father with thanksgiving for your faith and love.
We know the burden you carry as you watch him struggle in body and mind and spirit, and we know the heaviness that past trauma can leave, the panic that seizes the body, the restless nights and troubled dreams. Our God is not distant from these afflictions. He gave His own Son, the true Son of God who humbled Himself to be called Son of David, so that we who were servants might be made sons and daughters of God. In Christ alone there is salvation and healing and adoption, and it is in His name that we have confidence to ask for mercy and grace.
Scripture reminds us that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and that we are called to guard ourselves and to watch and be sober. This watching is not only against outward dangers but for the quietness of the soul, that we may not be drowned by anxious thoughts or by the drunkenness that comes from worldly cares and fear. When the heart is kept in order before God, sleep itself can become calm and decent and refreshing, not full of wild fancies and terrors, but a true rest given by Him. We pray that God will grant your son such rest, and such watchfulness in the day, that he may stand steadfast and unmovable in faith.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that never fail. We lift up this son to You and ask You to restore him fully, physically, mentally and spiritually. You see every struggle, every moment when panic takes hold, every memory that casts a shadow. Quiet his mind and calm his body. Remove the heavy weight of past trauma and replace it with Your peace. Grant him deep and peaceful sleep without nightmares, and let him wake in peace and strength. Bring comfort where there is pain, healing where there is woundedness, and breakthrough in every area of his life that needs Your touch. Teach him to look to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and life, and to trust that Christ is able to do this according to his faith. Keep him and guard him, and help him to watch and be sober, walking in Your light day by day. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord, who alone is our hope and healer. Amen.
Continue to bring him before the Lord each day, trusting that God hears and works according to His loving will. Keep encouraging your son to seek the Lord, to hear His word, and to rest in His care, for the Lord is faithful to keep those who trust in Him.
