We stand with you in prayer for your precious son and we thank you for bringing him before the Father with such love and faith. We see the burden you carry for him and we join our faith with yours for his complete restoration physically, mentally, and spiritually.
We serve a God who sees every struggle, every moment of panic, and every heavy shadow from the past. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. And in Psalm 34:18, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Your son is not forgotten or alone in what he is walking through, the Lord draws near to him in this very hour.
We pray against the spirit of fear and panic that tries to take hold of him, for we know in 2 Timothy 1:7, For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray for a quieted mind and a calmed body, that the peace of God would guard his heart and thoughts. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also claim Isaiah 41:10 over him, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We lift up his sleep before the Lord, asking that nightmares would be removed and that he would rest in safety and wake in peace. We pray Psalm 4:8 over him, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And we pray Isaiah 26:3 over his mind, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. We ask the Father to lift the heavy shadows of past trauma and to bring true healing to every wound, for He has promised in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
Let us pray together.
Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this beloved son to You. Lord, You know him by name, You see every struggle and every hidden pain. We ask for Your mercy and grace to flood every area of his life. Touch his body and bring calm where there is panic, touch his mind and quiet every anxious and racing thought, and touch his spirit and restore him to wholeness in You. Lord, we ask You to remove the heavy shadows of past trauma and break every chain that keeps him bound. Cover his nights, Father, let him sleep well without nightmares and wake up in Your peace and strength. Bring comfort where there is distress, healing where there is hurt, and breakthrough where there has been long struggle. Fill him with Your power, love and self-control and let him know how deeply he is loved and upheld by Your righteous right hand. We also lift up his parent who is faithfully interceding, give comfort, strength and renewed hope while waiting on Your perfect restoration. We thank You, Father, for all You are doing and all You will do, and we trust You for complete healing and restoration. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to speak Scripture over him daily, to pray with him when he is willing, and to help him keep his mind stayed on the Lord's promises, especially before sleep. Keep bringing every care to the Father with thanksgiving and trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. We are standing with you and believing with you for his comfort, healing and breakthrough.
