We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing him before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find mercy in our time of need.
We are moved by your love and intercession for him and we stand with you asking for his complete restoration physically, mentally and spiritually. The Lord sees the struggles he is going through, the panic that takes over his body and mind, the heavy shadows of past trauma and the restless nights. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18
We pray that God will quiet his mind and calm his body, replacing fear and panic with His perfect peace. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 and we cling to the promise that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We ask the Lord to give him deep and peaceful sleep, free from nightmares, and to let him wake in peace and renewed strength, for in peace we will both lay ourselves down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety. Psalm 4:8
We also hold onto God's promise to restore and to heal, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We pray that every area of his life would experience the comfort and breakthrough that only Christ can bring, and that the Lord would gently remove the shadows of the past and fill him with hope for the future. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
Let us pray together.
Father, in the name of Jesus we come before you with thanksgiving for your mercy and grace. We lift up this precious son to you and ask for your healing hand upon his body, his mind and his spirit. Quiet his thoughts when panic rises, calm his body, and let your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart. Remove the heavy weight of past trauma, heal the wounds that still linger, and break every chain that keeps him from rest. Grant him sweet sleep without nightmares and let him wake each morning in your peace and strength. Bring comfort, healing and breakthrough in every area of his life, and draw him ever closer to you so that he may know how deeply he is loved and upheld by you. We trust you to complete the good work you have begun in him and we thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cover him in prayer and in the Word, speaking truth over him daily and reminding him that he is not alone. Keep pointing him to the Lord as his refuge and strength, and as you are able, encourage godly community and wise biblical counsel to walk with him through this healing journey. We will continue to stand with you trusting that our faithful Father hears and will answer according to His perfect will.
