Heavenly Father, I pray for your mercy and grace to restore my son ###, physically, mentally, and spiritually. You see the struggles he is going through with medication induced psychosis. I pray for clarity in his thoughts and relief from the auditory hallucinations and delusional beliefs. Help him to discern your voice above all others and lead him to the right treatment. I pray that you would bring comfort, healing, and breakthrough in every area of his life. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join with you in lifting up your beloved son before the throne of grace, and we thank you for bringing this burden to us so we can seek the Lord together for his complete healing and restoration.

Our hearts are moved with compassion for what he is enduring with medication induced psychosis, and for what you are carrying as his parent watching him suffer. We know that our God sees his struggles, hears his cries, and is near to him even when his thoughts are confused and distressing voices trouble him. We take comfort that the Lord is the one who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We are encouraged that you have sought the right treatment for him, for the Lord often brings healing through the wisdom He gives to physicians and counselors, and we pray that God will lead you both clearly to the right doctors and the right course of care. We also remember that God is our refuge and strength, and He invites us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:17-18.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that through Him we have access to Your mercy and grace. We lift up this precious son to You and ask for Your complete restoration over him physically, mentally, and spiritually. Lord, You know the effects of medication on his mind and body, You see the confusion, the auditory hallucinations, and the delusional beliefs that torment him. We ask You to bring clarity to his thoughts, peace to his mind, and quietness to the voices that are not from You. Let him hear Your voice above all others, for Your sheep hear Your voice and You know them and they follow You John 10:27. Grant him discernment and calm, and let Your perfect peace which surpasses all understanding guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

Father, we ask that You guide every medical decision, give wisdom to his doctors, and lead him to the treatment that will bring true healing. Touch his body and restore what has been harmed, renew his mind, and strengthen his spirit. Bring comfort where there is distress, breakthrough where there is bondage, and hope where there is weariness. We speak Your promise over him that You will restore health to him and heal him of his wounds Jeremiah 30:17. Strengthen his parent who loves him so deeply, sustain them with Your presence, and remind them that You will uphold them with Your righteous right hand Isaiah 41:10. Let this family feel Your nearness and know that You are working even in this difficult season for good.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, for hearing our prayers, and for the healing that is already beginning. We trust You for continued restoration in every area of his life, and we pray all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, Amen.

Watching someone you love struggle with psychosis, hearing voices and holding beliefs that are not rooted in reality, is exhausting and heartbreaking, and your prayer for mercy and clarity reflects such faithful love for him.

Medication induced experiences like this can be confusing for families, and it is good you are asking God to lead him to the right treatment. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to stay closely connected with his prescribing doctor and care team, keeping them fully informed about the hallucinations and changes in his thinking so they can guide his care well. You do not have to carry the weight of figuring out next steps alone.

It also helps to have steady support around you as you walk with him. If you have a trusted pastor, family member, or close friend who can pray with you regularly and help you navigate appointments and decisions, let them in. Caring for yourself while you care for him matters too.

Father, we bring ### to You and ask for Your mercy over him. Bring comfort to his mind, quiet what is distressing him, and give wisdom to those treating him. Give his parent strength, peace, and hope as they love him through this, and draw them both close to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer for your son has been carried with sorrow and hope before the Lord, and we join you in pleading for His mercy and grace to rest upon him.

We are reminded that our Lord Jesus is the great Physician, and that from Him abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only His fruit but His leaves are full of healing virtue, to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. What is needed for a mind clouded and distressed, for spirits oppressed by false voices and delusions, is found in Him.

You have asked rightly for clarity of thought and relief from auditory hallucinations and delusional beliefs, and for grace to discern the voice of the Lord above all others. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and it is when Christ is teaching that His healing power is most manifestly present. We pray that your son may be brought under the faithful teaching of the Word, where the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon him with healing in His wings. In the gospel, pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one, and so we seek both for your son, the healing of his body and mind and the deeper healing of his soul through faith in Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other.

The Lord has promised that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. He who took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up when she lay sick of a fever is able still to lift up those who are prostrated and to give them strength to rise. We pray that the Lord will lay His hand upon your son, calm the storm within, quiet the voices that are not His, and grant him a sound mind. We ask that God in His providence will lead him and those who care for him to right and wise treatment, and that He will bless the means used for his good, for we very speedily seek a physician for bodily diseases, and we may lawfully do so while looking above all to the Lord who alone can make whole.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this dear son before You. You see his affliction, this medication induced psychosis, the confusion of his thoughts, the distress of hearing voices that trouble him, and the power of delusional beliefs. Have mercy upon him, O Lord. Speak peace to his mind and grant him clarity. Silence what is false and help him to hear Your voice in Your Word, to know it and to follow it. We ask for Your healing virtue to work in him, to restore him physically, mentally and spiritually. Guide those who treat him, give them wisdom to choose what is right and helpful, and bring comfort and breakthrough in every area of his life where the enemy has sown distress. Heal him, O Lord, and he shall be healed. Lift him up by Your hand, and make him whole, that he may live to Your glory and serve You. We ask this not for any merit in us, but for the sake of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer. Amen.

We will continue to bear you and your son before the throne, asking that the Lord who has begun a good work will perfect it till he is without spot or blemish in the day of Christ, and that you may find comfort in knowing that even the leaves of Christ are healing.
