Our hearts are deeply moved by your plea, and we join you in lifting up your wife, your children, and your family to the Lord, who is the Great Physician and our ultimate Healer. We stand with you in faith, knowing that nothing is impossible for our God, and we declare His power over this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The Scriptures remind us that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB) We also cling to the promise that *"by his wounds you were healed."* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB) This healing is not only spiritual but also physical, for our God cares for every part of our being. Jesus demonstrated His authority over sickness and disease during His earthly ministry, and we believe He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
We also remember the words of James, who instructs us to *"pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* (James 5:16, WEB) So we come before the throne of grace with boldness, interceding for your wife’s complete healing. We ask the Lord to rebuke this cancer at its root, to restore her blood to perfect health, and to strengthen her body so that she may rise from her hospital bed in full recovery. May the doctors and nurses attending to her be guided by divine wisdom, and may every treatment and medication be used by God as instruments of healing.
We also lift up your children, who are longing for their mother. Lord, comfort their little hearts and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them know, even in their young age, that You are their Refuge and Strength. We pray that you, as their father, will be filled with the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and strength to care for them and reassure them during this difficult time. *"But Jesus said, ‘Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.’"* (Matthew 19:14, WEB). May your children feel the presence of Jesus in a tangible way, and may this trial draw your entire family closer to Him.
To you, dear brother, we say: do not lose heart. The enemy may seek to bring despair, but we remind you that *"we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB) Stand firm in the faith, clothed in the full armor of God, and trust that He who began a good work in your wife will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). Let this season be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, not only to your family but to all who witness His mighty hand at work.
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, if you are able. Gather with believers who can stand in agreement with you, for *"where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* (Matthew 18:20, WEB). Let the body of Christ surround you with love, support, and prayer. If there is any sin or unforgiveness in your hearts, we urge you to repent and release it, for *"if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord won’t hear me."* (Psalm 66:18, WEB). Walk in righteousness and holiness, trusting that the Lord hears the prayers of the upright.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this precious sister who is battling chronic myeloid leukemia. Lord, You are the God who parts the seas, who raises the dead, and who heals all manner of diseases. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her body right now. Let Your power surge through her veins, cleansing her blood, and restoring every cell to perfect health. We command this cancer to be uprooted and cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against her shall prosper, for this is her heritage as a child of God (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask for a miracle—a divine intervention that will leave no doubt that You are the God who heals. Strengthen her physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Fill her with Your peace that transcends all understanding, and let her feel Your presence in that hospital room. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let them minister to her as they ministered to Jesus in the wilderness (Matthew 4:11).
Father, we also lift up her husband and children. Comfort them in their distress and fill their home with Your joy, even in the midst of this storm. Provide for their every need—spiritually, emotionally, and financially. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to each other. Give this husband the wisdom to lead his family with love and faith, and let his children see Your hand at work in their lives.
We declare that this family shall testify of Your goodness and mercy. Let this sickness be turned into a story of Your glory, Lord. We ask for a complete and total healing, that our sister may return home to her family whole and restored. We trust in Your timing, Lord, and we wait upon You with expectation.
Finally, Father, we thank You for the victory that is already won through the blood of Jesus. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for answering us. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep believing, keep praying, and keep trusting in His promises. We are standing with you in faith, and we eagerly await the testimony of your wife’s healing. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
