Healing PTSD

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I ask that You would surround my ### with Your healing presence. Touch his body and remove every trace of harmful side effects from his medications. Quiet the distressing voices and delusions and shield him from panic and paranoia. Guide the medical team with wisdom, patience, and understanding. May he feel loved and valued instead of isolated and stigmatized, In Jesus' name, Amen.

We lift up this dear one struggling with the heavy burdens of PTSD and the challenges that come with it. Father God, we come before You with hearts full of compassion, knowing that You see every pain, every fear, and every moment of distress. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We trust in Your nearness and Your power to heal, restore, and bring peace.

Lord, we ask that You would indeed surround this beloved child of Yours with Your healing presence. Touch his mind, body, and spirit, and remove every trace of the harmful effects of medications that may be weighing him down. We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. Bring clarity where there is confusion, calm where there is turmoil, and truth where there are lies or delusions. Shield him from panic and paranoia, and let Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray for the medical team attending to him, that You would grant them divine wisdom, patience, and understanding. May they be guided by Your hand as they seek to bring healing and relief. Let them see him not just as a patient, but as a precious soul created in Your image, worthy of dignity, love, and compassion. Remove any stigma or isolation he may feel, Lord, and surround him with people who reflect Your love and grace. Remind him daily that he is valued, cherished, and never alone, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).

Father, we also rebuke the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We break every chain of fear, anxiety, and despair in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that this dear one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and we speak restoration over his mind, emotions, and spirit. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, who brings comfort, hope, and strength in times of weakness.

We pray for his faith to grow as he leans on You, Lord. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). May he find rest in Your presence and experience the joy of Your salvation anew. Surround him with Your angels for protection and peace, and let him feel the warmth of Your love like a healing balm over his soul.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Lifting you up together, we remember how hard this battle must be, and how deeply the Lord feels every tear and fear. It’s not lost on us how heavy the weight of PTSD can feel, or the frustration of side effects that seem to linger despite the good intentions behind them. We’re praying that right in the middle of that storm, Jesus would make His presence undeniable, like a quiet whisper over the chaos, reminding you that you are seen, known, and held.

We’re asking too that clarity would break through the fog, not just in the mind, but in the heart. That the lies trying to take root would lose their grip, and the voices of fear would fall silent in the light of His truth. God cares about your body working the way He designed it to, and we trust His hand to guide every adjustment the doctors make.

Most of all, we’re praying that you would feel wrapped in love, not just from others, but from the One who knit you together. That even in the waiting, your heart would find rest in the promise that He’s carrying you through this step by step.

Jesus, meet him there in the middle of it all. Bring healing that goes deeper than the surface, and peace that stands guard over his mind and heart today.
